The tension between these characters all lead here, it's really cool how he seems empowered to give his honest opinion now. I love how he has progressed. He has become his own man, it's good to see how he is rightfully, putting his own feelings first for once.

I like how you describe his life getting better, him feeling better and then he comes back to this, and there is melancholy lull. Great way to build the tension, you have us all watching Tib now!
