This is the drama we crave. This is the character growth we STRIVE FOR. So proud of the firelight for doing the difficult thing and learning what's important to -her-, and following through at last.

The emotional torrent here is so real, I feel like I could feel this.
stating the real questions: did he taste good
I think it's amazing that you can touch on such raw emotions, showing her resistance to her own feelings conflicting with her own self image. I especially like how you tied it back into her past, really solidifying those traits as something long standing. You make Valmua feel so real and raw.
This is one of the most fearsomely raw posts I’ve ever read, describing a flawed character in perfect detail while hitting every story beat necessary to carry it across. All I can say is well done - truly.
losing my shit of her bluntness

The way you express indignant pain through Valmúa is honestly so raw, and so real, I feel like I could be her in this scenario. She's 'alive' in a way.
Laying out all her insecurities like that puts the harsh girl into context, she feels so real flawed and honest. You are seriously a gifted writer
Lol Val so mean, it's funny to see it come out again.

The whole arch of Val surrendering to love, is so awesome. The reader can see the moment where it clicks. You do such a great job of expressing the way she feels and the analogy surrounding it! You have really created something unique.
"Her steps were playful as she bounced from paw to paw in front of him, showing him the reason she had been named "Poppy" and not "Fire" in her Icelandic tongue." - So cute! I love how her guard has come down for him.
I love how the way you write her reflects her thinking so well. You can tell there’s so much on her mind, and she’s both very subtle yet so plain.
"The pregnant leftover of dragons" BRUTAL. I love her
I just love Valmua & Ragnar's deepening relationship. <3
I loved reading this! Your writing is stunning.
This entire thread has me wishing Cirilla was male to help 'em out lmao
That one line of dialogue got me. It was tender and chilling. It is the perfect line to end a chapter.
The imagery, you painted here of them standing side by side is so real, I can picture it so clearly, the care they have for eachother. The confusion of the battle and her sense of urgency makes it all feel so alive. You just keep topping yourself.
I love this look into Val's motives to do, well, anything!
This post so expressive, the way she moves, it has this Fatale expression, it also plays off him making the writing brilliantly collaborative.
