Appearance
The girl has, and always will be, northern bred. For generations, her ancestors grew and fell like the overflowing tides to which their remains lay, spreading their genetics and family name to those that would come after them and, at rare times, to those that have earned it.
Mæja is the direct descendent of Sjóskrim, sovereign of Regeiren and Evangeline, his mate; although while possessing the last name, her father, Tunglid, was disowned. Such stories are the building blocks of Mæja’s existence, and from it she was birthed into the world with a monochrome complexion that hailed from her paternal grandfather, and seafoam green eyes from her paternal grandmother.
However, being the runt of the litter caused her to take on a rarity in the gene pool of giants, and although her mother was not of such colossal beasts, did not mean that she had been as small as Mæja is. Upon reaching her full height, this frá Norðri will reach a meager twenty-four inches.
One of the most interesting aspects of her lineage is how dominant the lack of coloration is; while it is not unheard of for wolves of her bloodline to have browns and lighter hues, the tell-tale sign of the entirety of a face being blacked out along with a neck and shoulders is a fairly good representation of where her roots originate. Although, cutting through the darkness like a steel knife, Mæja possesses silver legs, a chest, upper back, and tail tip.
While she may be short, she absolutely has the muscle to pack a punch.
