A well-muscled woman with a thick coat that is mostly cinnamon, rust, and rich chocolate in colour, Valmúa is a classic ginger northerner. Her copper-masked face and underbelly are toned with light grey, while dark scarlet and reds line the top of her head and a saddle on her back. Her eyes are a wild, metallic silver. Her most obvious feature is the fur on her neck, which is the pale cream and gold of her brother Stjor.

She is marred with small scars on much of her body, though most are not visible. Her age in these fights is beginning to show; she has consistent shoulder pain in her right side from an injury that will never fully heal.

Valmúa is an easily frustrated woman with a short fuse and no real concept of consequences for her actions. She is crude, manipulative, and can be quite rude. Like her siblings, she is a hedonistic beast. Unlike her brothers, she is more in tune with her and other's emotions. Her voice is a gruff alto with an Icelandic accent.

During her time in Canis, Valmúa became fascinated by a large tiger living in the Everfrost near her homeland. Addicted to being close to something she viewed as power, their strange friendship transitioned to something unspeakable for wolfkind. She is fiercely loyal to him and has both defended him and put him in harm's way. What began as a desire to harness his power has melded into a need that the fire wolf herself does not understand.
