History

Born a spoiled, hot-tempered, but mannered boy of Piper Nightshade and Freyar, Nemean grew up in a close-knit Family. He was born in the Everlasting Caverns of Evergreen Forest, but moved to the mountains at a young age with the people who mattered most. There, Piper tried to settle Nightshade Shore, but many were unhappy with the location.
Nemean escaped the fire of Horizon with some pretty bad burns to the face and chest, but managed to stay with the Family…..
Until he wasn’t anymore. Upset after being told he would bear the scars of the fires kiss forever on his face, Nem just wanted to go for a walk, but the heavy snows covered all trails and he gets lost.
He meets Skadi and Gaius, fellow almost-yearlings, wanders for several weeks. Between the famine, poor hunting skills, and the cold, Nemean gets hit with a sudden bout of pneumonia . Stays for a few days with the Northern Realm upon Safira’s request, builds up a liking to the female, but leaves when her son Yukon is aggressively unwelcoming.
Meir and Soliel find him sick and starving, stumbling about, finally bringing him home to the tunnel Piper claimed in a second attempt to settle Nightshade Vale. Here, he begins to heal, and starts practicing his hunting skills.

The volcano erupts once more, sending the Family fleeing into a new Dawn.

Here, he is separated almost instantly from his pack by a landslide. The biggest damage he sustains is a simple gash to his right temple, which completely scrambles his memories. He can remember some faces and a place or two, but not much else other than the way he reacts to things. Carefree and a little confused, he forges his own path into the new valley in search of a purpose.

He finds it in the form of a dark creature called Damascus. Bold, strong and kind enough, Nemean doesn't mind pledging himself to a budding pack in order to simply do something other than wander. He is the second recruit to the Dominion Regalia, and eventually they settle on Thunder Rise. His fellow packmate is Keres Parthenon, and right from the word go, Nemean is drawn to her like a tick to blood. The pair grow close as the Dominion grows, and Nem flourishes as the packs hunter. It becomes a sort of game to him, finding the biggest birds he could down and leaving them for Keres as well as filling the cache.
In his blissful ignorance, Keres and Damascus come to a disagreement over her easy temperament, and he forces the woman from their ranks -- Nemean follows after her without much of a thought, abandoning the Dominion and the packmates he barely knew.

They wander west a bit, and run into what he realizes as a familiar face -- his littermate?! Valerie is confused over the change in her brother, and tries to convince him to come home and be the heir he was born to be. It didn't settle well with Nem, not her reaction to him or the idea of being an heir to a family he didn't remember. Keres, thankfully, speaks up and asks if they can backtrack in order to say a proper goodbye to a friend of hers.
Valerie wouldn't backtrack, and she told Nemean she wasn't going to wait around for him to find himself. So she went south, and with a promise to follow afterwards, goes back east with Keres, where they meet Swifty, Walter, and their children; the Touchet Troupe.
One late, restless night in the middle of a thunderstorm, when Nemean tries to slink off to pout, Keres comes to him. They talk about Valerie, and touch a little on his memory loss, but ultimately discuss their feelings for each other. While neither knows exactly the word for the situation, they settle on agreeing that they're special to one another. One of a kind. A perfect match.

They find a very badly injured man and, despite Nemean's reservations, carry him to Gossamer Pool, where they stay to care for him. He vanishes before they ever talk or find out who he is.... for now.
Faustus and Keres come across each other and, when Nem arrives to the reunion, Faust abruptly leaves, telling them to stay away from the Dominion. Nemean is fine with this, but Keres' curiosity is piqued and she goes to talk to him in the middle of the night. Frustrated, Nem goes for a run along the beach instead of following her, where he (re)meets Caligula and shares some of those worries.
They both return to the Dominion and Keres just as Ba'al is driven of, and Keres is extended an invitation into the pack -- but not the traitor Nemean.
An unfair argument gone wrong between Faustus, Nemean, and Keres and a badly timed confession of love later, Nem leaves, vowing to kill Ba'al himself or die trying.
He waits and waits, and eventually, is rewarded when Ba'al shows his face in the woods again. Nemean stalks and ambushes him. The two tangle in a long, brutal, bloody fight in which he believes them both to perish and finally remembering his past as he slips into unconsciousness. A hero, the bestest boy died proud and smug, grinning at the damage he did to his enemy.

Except.... he wakes up in a strange land, injured and confused, and definitely not dead but with no recollection of when he moved.

-Caligula finds Nemean and settles him nearby to help him heal.
-Nemean thanks his friend and heads north in search of a purpose, a home.
-Stops at Fate's Respite;
