clouded white, overlaid with muted coffee that stretches from her muzzle to her hindquarters, interwoven with shades of gold and red. red brushes the top of her muzzle, and stretches most predominately from her ears down her nape, and golden shades fall over her shoulders and down her back. the white of her undersides stretched down the inside of each limb, and up to streak the bottom of her muzzle. her tail is entirely the same shade of white, and stretches like a plume behind her. her paws are similarly dipped in ivory. eyes are twin suns, golden honey and bright against the dark mask that encircles them. a carefully sculpted face softens to the downy, soft fur of her nape; phaedra is lean, long-limbed and enchanting.

born alongside three sisters, her upbringing was the definition of sheltered. their domain was a plateau tucked high out of reach, speckled with apple trees and wildflowers. their lives were idyllic, devoid of conflict; until her second year, she barely thought of the world beyond. under the tutelage of their mother, the sisters learned grace and manners, to tend their small world, to be content with what had been granted to them by the will of the gods. they existed undisturbed until shortly before her second year when a male stumbled across them in his journey across the peaks. they sheltered him for two days; his tales of adventure sparking some previously nonexistent interest in the world beyond. some month later, a larger group of travelers sought respite in their plateau; their tales and subsequent departure were the final pull the woman needed. she departed shortly thereafter, much to the disappointment and confusion of the rest of her family, content and grateful for their lot. before she left, a final warning from her mother; the way back, should she seek it, would only be hard-won.

tempered, gentle, and docile; traits instilled into phaedra and her sisters since birth. to placate, to move delierately and gracefully; it is difficult to shake the lessons of a lifetime. lacks, however, the simple contentedness of her sisters. as such she chooses to leave behind the idle perfection of their family and the lush gardens they tend. still, she adheres as best as possible to the manners taught to her, understanding that they are her best chance to be well-received by others. ambitious, yet her goals are vague -- her chief desire is to be something more than she was raised to be, but she has no idea who or what that might be.
wary, she is certainly aware of her ignorance in this world outside her own. tempted by arrogance and the desire to prove herself, she is occasionally rash regardless. determined to become someone else she falls easily back into her old ways when challenged. certain that she desires conflict and excitement phaedra nonetheless tends to shy away from them. something else once I get around to writing more I guess. truthfully more than a little lost, but certain (most of the time) that her decision to set out alone was the right one.
