A rebellious, unruly boy grown into a surly, rarely-happy man; his personality now is largely due in part to his parents and older brother, the heir to the throne and golden child in the eyes of Morgana and Paimon. Never enough, always second-best, the scape-goat. Abraxas lived chained, shackled to his parents will, the kingdom always dangled before him. He knew they would never choose him to ascend, but that never stopped him from secretly hoping, yearning to be their favorite, to be loved for even just a minute.
Over the years, his hope blackened, crumbled into resentment. Hatred. His brother was distant, cruel, and mean. Abraxas was no better when it came to him. Mazikeen was the light of his days, her similarly sullen attitude bonding them in a way that he'd never experienced with another. Mother didn't approve of her, though. Too low class. Eventually, Morgana drove the girl away, once again isolating the Prince.
Abraxas has become a man of few words, high walls, and bristled tongue. He trusts very few, and allows fewer to get closer to him.
