Pavaki grew up in a pack with his mother, father, and sister. Despite being born in the same litter, his mother always seemed to favor Kia over him. His father, however, loved both of his children equally. He soon began to favor Pavaki as Kia showed to be much like her mother in her more ruthless ways. Pavaki always tried to show his mother that he was just as good as Kia, always going above and beyond. And yet, Ia never cared about his accomplishments. It was all about his sister and what she could do. In reality, they were both pretty strong in similar ways, and Pavaki would even beat his sister sometimes. But his mother always found an excuse for it and continued to praise his sister. His father started to leave quite often, each time being longer than the last. Little did he know that his father was finding love with a rogue, eventually having a pup with her. He doesn’t know, but she grew up to be Lorelei. He hated when his father left as he was stuck with the rest of his family. Kia was never kind to him either, following closely in their mothers paw prints. One day, a bear came too close to camp. Pavaki bravely stepped up and tried attacking it first, hoping to prove to his mother that he was worth something. Instead, all he gained was blindness and a chunk taken out of his tail, making his mother disregard him as her pup. His father was enraged and vowed to leave the pack, breaking off his relationship with Ia. The night he slipped from camp, he gave Pavaki a pair of feathers to always remember him by. A short time later, Pavaki left as well, unable to cope without his father.
He looked for him for years, hoping to find him somewhere. Instead, he found various packs, all disbanding for one reason or another. He had found mates in a few of the packs as well, but they always ended with the death of the pack. One particular pack and mate gave him pups. Three of them who he cared about so much. Though one day, he managed to get separated from the pack. When he went to where the camp used to be, there was hardly a trace of them. No matter how much he searched, they were gone. And so he continued traveling, hoping to one day either find his father or a pack that seemed strong, one that wouldn’t break apart. It has made him very weary of joining a pack, but he had to in order to survive. He couldn’t hunt much himself, and a purely fish diet wouldn’t do him very good. He then stumbled into the middle of a war between packs, wondering which one he would be interested in joining. He ended up joining Lunar Creek, spending the rest of his days there.
The rest he remembers is lying by a creek with a very dear friend, feeling his soul leave him as death began to overtake him...
