Appearance

For all of his miniscule nature, this pint-sized fellow can tend to stand out like a sore thumb even in his usual arboreal home. His feathers are mainly a bright orange-ish red, accented by a splash of white on the face softening to gold on the edges and dark red-brown streaks jutting vertially up from the eyes along distinctive "ear" tufts. Large eyes of a pale green, usually half hooded, dominate his face, with a small, gray peak poking out from the nest of white feathers that give nearly a moustachio'd and bearded impression. The leading edges of his wings are trimmed with dark brown and white, his stomache creamy white with spidery streaks of red tracking downward from his upper chest amongst occasional flecks of honey and dark brown. Undersides of the wings are also creamy white and when extended display impressive dark brown bars thicker at the wingtips and thinning towards the body. His feet, gray scaled and lightly feathered sport four toes, three in front and one in back and a set of fearsome, deadly talons, but they are often hidden when perched. When angered or frustrated his feathers and "ear" tufts puff out to ridiciulous levels. When scared or chastised the opposite occurs in which he pulls his feathers in close and smooth, becoming incredibly small.

Bugg is very walled off and especially now in this new strange world he feels more isolated than ever. Gaining this suspicious and shrewd little warrior's trust will be no easy task. But despite all of that bluster deep down he is lonely, frightened, usure of his next wingbeat to take but he will take it none the less. To make up for his lack of size he fancies himself a well learned tactician and revels in thinking steps ahead. He hates when others outwit him or come to a conclusion first thus giving off a very competitive personna. Break down those barriers however and you will find a steadfast, if albeit a bit overzealous and loveably greating, friend.
