Deadman's Estuary

Where the river meets sea, the Deadman's Estuary branches a salt marsh home to local, aquatic life forms—particularly used for hatchlings during seasonal months. Tall, foreboding cypress trees have overtaken the majority of the marsh and offer protection for the young in their roots. During low-tide where the water has receded, small pools are left in the wake around the main river parting the Estuary. The Estuary is known to be foggy during the morning and evening, making visibility difficult, and sparking a local legend of it hosting mythological sea creatures offshore.
