Origins
Having no memories of life prior to this, Quicksilver was told the name of aén Fidháil by a pale stag in his vision. One of which had also guided him to find Vanderfell and eventually his wife, Reiko. Wishing to put behind her dark and difficult past, Reiko has adopted this name and merged the pleasant memories and customs of the Izuka clan to keep them alive with a new chapter ahead of them.

The Izuka who will live on through aén Fidháil come from a pack that lived in a land of snow. They were a large group, but as other packs in the region died out, eventually merged with the clan. However as they stood as the only remaining pack in the Northern regions, their genetic pool within the pack began to shrink which lead to certain traits such as pale eyes, dominantly blue, small physiques, pointed features and pale skin. After her parent's unfortunate passing, Reiko was cast out by her sister who took the throne and forced her to wander alone, originally set as a death sentence.

Physical Traits
Normally pale, the predominant shading and colours are white with some grey and/or light sandy markings. Some may have pink skin as well, coming from the Izuka line but that will be fading with each generation as it was a result of slight inbreeding. They range from small to tall, sometimes very small (another Izuka trait) but never very tall. Their eyes are various shades of blue and sometimes purple, grey and pink. They are normally slim and elegant with long well kept fur with sharp, kind features.

Language
English with a secondary language of Japanese that come from the Izuka line kept alive by Reiko.

Culture
Songs and stories who are shared through the generations. Things that were taught to Reiko by her mother, and her mother's mother before her. The following are stories and songs that she remembers from her childhood and continues to share with her children and grandchildren.

Songs
A lullaby often sung to newborns. "“Takeda no Komoriuta” was not just a lullaby for baby, but one which awakes people who try to “sleep” pushing their countless experiences of discrimination away and trying to make those forgotten for good."
Pale Deer
In honour of the Izuka tradition and story behind the creation of the Izuka clan, white or albino deer (or any and all ungulate) are not to be hunted. They don't see them as dieties, but instead as a sign of good fortune and for that, are left untouched. In addition, more recently, Quicksilver tells the tale that he himself has been guided by a white stag who had brought him to this new world and eventually met his wife Reiko.

Cherry Blossoms
Not only does the story of the Izuka origins tell the tale of our ancestor finding his wife within a cherry blossom tree - but in the new world Reiko and Hotaru, while settling down in Tsukiishi have found a grove of never-ending blossoms. It's seen as a sign of resilience even in the harshest of times. As a wedding offer, Quicksilver brought seeds of these trees for them to plant in their new home after abandoning Tsukiishi to keep the pack safe from Kuhn and Valmua.

Birth of the Izuka
A story told by the elders to the youth, and passed down through the generations of Izuka, kept alive by Reiko who continues to tell the tale to her children and husband. It tells the tale of a wolf as white as the doe who birthed him and lived amongst the deer until he found his wife within a cherry blossom tree. As the clan grew, the deer remained and was believed to be the reason for the prosperity the pack had above all other packs in the region.

Mama Bear and Baby Bear
A tale of a mother bear who lost her only cub. The story goes that she sought her cub in every corner of the earth, when she couldn't find her cub, she moved to the heavens and searched for it there. To this day she keeps searching, found in the stars as a shape that points to where her child is. Though they are still lost, they are close to finding one another.
