Aludra’s Bridge

Spanning between cliffs sits a long, fraying wooden bridge. Despite its appearance, the bridge is surprisingly sturdy once stepped on. Rumor has it that once you travel toward the center, the bottom is no longer visible, replaced by a blinding white. No one has a standing theory for why the depths appear this way, as none have been able to journey down to find answers. Any attempts to leave territorial indication here seems to disappear...

Astral Taiga

Nestled in a subarctic region famed for its incredible, starry nightscapes, the Astral Taiga is home to a luscious, emerald forest and a fortress-like mountain range capped in ivory snow. Behind the conifer trees, scattered like sleeping giants, the white-capped peaks almost resemble a towering castle. A decently-sized lake rests between the gulf and the alps, well-protected and seasonally frozen. Proud elk and testy mountain goats find permanent residence within the frigid landscape.

Behemoth’s Brim

Jutting out into the sea is a desolate shoreline made of ragged slate and shale. It is a place of nightmares, with barren trees piercing the thick fog that always seems to hover over the blackened stone. Disembodied sounds and whispering voices send chills down your spine, their source nowhere to be found.

Floral Meadow

Dappled with a multitude of different flowers and colours, these rolling hills are a sight to behold. Trees break up the scenery while the hills seem to continue on for an eternity, with a variety of flowers and berries that go almost beyond one’s imagination. Bears are often found here snacking on the fruit, but with the abundance of food they are no trouble to travelers — if left unbothered.

Hjartaheim Valley

Hjartaheim Valley is a mysterious, dark green plateau cradled within a ring of rising peaks and mountainous hills. Its terrain is a patchwork of rolling hills, small bubbling streams that meander narrowly through the landscape, and a shroud of ever-present fog and cloud cover that lends a mystique atmosphere to the land. Beneath the green grassy hills lies a sprawling, crystal-clear lake, its surface a reflection of the moody skies above. Natural dirt paths crisscross the territory, guiding the way through the rugged beauty of Hjartaheim. The valley is teeming with prey, from herds of two-toed grazing on the verdant hills and mountainsides to other elusive game, such as agile mountain goats and the snarky pronghorn deer. Nature's predators also hold their dominion here, with grizzly bears roaming the valley as the esteemed hunters of Hjartaheim, rivaled only by the native wolves.

Jawbone Crag

While Jawbone Crag is an isolated cluster of rather squat mountains, there are few larger spires that reach heavenward like a row of jagged teeth some find intimidating. While not entirely impassable they are certainly treacherous to navigate. A small smattering of woods at the base of the Crag is home to frequent herds among other woodland creatures and while not entirely an enticing landmark on its own it is rumored that the Crag hides tunnels of geodes and caverns that harbor ecosystems of flora and fauna.

Leviathan's Sepulcher

Rising from the black torrent like the knuckles of some gargantuan god, the rocks stand jagged in the spray. Be it the segmented body of a serpentine stone demon or the fingers of a drowned creator, the serrated crags cut a unique horizon line in an unfriendly bay. Though if one is able to make out the carving pathway between the roaring waves, a surprisingly lavish land is within its wake.

Rippling Heights

A vast land with round, moss-covered stones speckling the hills. Low growing shrubs, thorns, and vines blanket the ground. Pikas are found in abundance here. In the spring, light blue flowers blossom in small batches — these are a favourite treat to the local wildlife.

Risnjak

The snow-capped mountain range is a formidable terrain, with towering peaks that appear to reach the heavens. A thick blanket of ice encases every crevice, presenting a treacherous and precarious path with each step. While the landscape is undeniably breathtaking, it also poses great peril to those who dare to venture into its icy clutches.

Rocky Outcrops

A grassy field with rocks sticking up out of the ground all over like jagged claws reaching out from beneath the earth.

The Badlands

A barren wasteland, filled with nothing but dust and sadness. Few venture through here and those who dare test themselves may sometimes come across the remains of less fortunate travelers.

The Cosmic Isle

A small island that flourishes with life. In the midst of its shores lies a forest of vibrant color, from ruby kissed hibiscus blooms to viridescent palms of all kinds. When the lights go out, however, the magic truly begins; colonies of bioluminescent bacteria scatter the shores and rocks light up the night like terrestrial stardust, keeping the island true to its name.

The Everfrost

Consisting only of lush evergreens, snow is a constant here as it clings to their branches and sweeps across the lands quickly covering up any previous tracks. Caribou, lemmings, voles, arctic hares, ravens, crows, and other various snowbirds give this place an abundance of life within the shelter of the coniferous trees.
