Adhara’s Ring

What appears to be an average forest is anything but the deeper one travels. Mushrooms sprout rapidly here, and at the heart lays a large set ring that surrounds the tallest of them all. Some may find the sight ethereal, though that could simply be due to the associated term “fairy ring”. No matter what elements or outside intervention occurs, the tallest mushroom has never fallen from its place. Any attempts to leave territorial indication here seems to disappear...

Blackwood Reach

The Reach makes up most of the misty lands. Shrouded in a constant thick fog, sun rarely ever reaches the forest floor despite the canopies being barely present above. The forest is mostly quiet except for the random rare bull elk call that breaks through the eerie silence.

Bluewater Lake

Nestled in a forked ring of jagged peaks, a bright pool of glacier-blue water forms a lake at the base of a broad, magnificent waterfall. During Spring and Summer months, the area surrounding the lake is carpeted with herbs and flora that benefit from the nutrient-rich soil, and in the Autumn, dozens of beautiful wildflowers bloom. The waterfall is perennial, freezing over only in the coldest of winters though the majority of the lake itself freezes perfectly clear in the areas along the shore.

Bowels of Adhara

A large wetland that is always covered in water and dominated by trees and deceivingly long grasses. The mud below the water's surface is thick, sticky, and deep meaning that any who aren't cautious can find themselves stuck. The swamp will sometimes bubble, releasing gases, which gives the swamp a foul odor.

Cymru Keep

Rising from the banks of a lake is an ancient castle, stones bleached white with age upon the backdrop of the northern hill country. Towers rise up along the battered keep, alleys of rock winding between open-air courtyards and an array of ancient chambers and halls. It was an impenetrable fortress that time has now forgotten.

Foxfire Woods

A mixture of evergreens and leafy trees make up the rather dull-looking forest. Streams criss-cross through the landscape in smooth running freshwater, songbirds sing from spring to autumn, while moss carpets the ground in moist areas. At night the mushrooms that grow among the undergrowth and along the trees glow at night - sending their spores into the sky like fireflies; illuminating the forest in a dim light from the ground throughout the branches of the trees above.

Hazy Pasture

Within the ever-spreading mist is an abundance of low-growing greenery and some trees that break up the horizon. The sound of gophers chirping can often be heard around sunset, along with the singing of various birds that are hard to find within the fog, giving this place an odd relaxing feel to it.

Thundering Grasslands

Rolling hills of tall green grasses. Wild horses can often be seen running through as the pure symbol of freedom, power and grace. The sound of their hooves hitting the ground sounds like thunder when coming from a larger herd. Somewhere in these fields is a random collection of massive stones forming a circle.

Tumultuous Rest

No trees grow here, only moss and some grass between the stones and boulders that claim this hillside as their home. In certain spots, edible berries can be found in prickly bushes for those who are willing to deal with thorns for the sweet treat. Thorns are not the only danger, however, as cougars also prowl these hills.
