Broken Buzzard Savanna

Sprawling with dirt and grass, this stretch of land is dry, hot, and mostly barren save for the few marula trees. Much can be seen clearly for miles, though one should take caution traveling, as you never know what lurks in the tall grass. At a glance, there does not appear to be much here, but who knows what you will find if you look?

Crescent Cove

Spanning for uncertain miles lies a deep, crescent-shaped and mysterious gash in the earth. Long filled in by water and eroded down, the earth is not quite as jagged here as it once was though it is far from smooth. Within both the northern and southern branches of the cove, the water is eerily still and far from crystal clear, betraying the true depth of how deep the gash goes.

Luyten’s Stairs

Where the trees thin and the stones smooth, an array of mismatched spiraling steps can be found traveling skyward. First impressions may leave most confused, and following the path will prove to be even more troubling. Upon further investigation, it would seem these stairs go nowhere at all or intersect, making a definable end impossible to distinguish. Any attempts to leave territorial indication here seems to disappear...

Moving Garden

Entering the jungle, there seems to be a wall of warm, tropical weather that engulfs the senses. Regardless of the surrounding area, the garden has only one season. Thousands of species of plant life thrive here, including Kapok trees, Brazil nut trees, and giant palms. There are always fruiting trees in the area. As its namesake suggests, the Moving Garden never stays in one area of the world for long.
Climate: Amazon Rainforest

Sharptooth Pass

A mountain range as beautiful as it is treacherous. It forms a wall between the coast and an inland steppe. The only clear path through is a narrow valley between the peaks, closely overseen by the wolves that dwell on its margins.

The Hiraeth

Below a hollowed tower of ancient stone and moss sits a hidden gem called The Hiraeth. Simply put as its name translates: A longing for home. It is said those who enter its warm embrace are so awestruck by its lavishness that they wish to never leave, and those who do, are left feeling empty without its strength.

The Watering Hole

A fat lake sits atop this low-lying plane near the center of grasslands. Many rivers and streams travel into this pool forming what could be one of the largest water sources for miles. Various types of prey gather at this peaceful lake to rest by the water, though few stay long as there is little shelter from the elements and predators.

Veria Terrace

A naturally occurring terrace overflowing with the silvered blossoms of Echeveria and similar succulents. Certain steps maintain a waterflow that continues down the green and blue platforms all the way to the bottom, filling a select few completely. At the bottom of the terrace, the gentle waterfall at the end of the stream pools into a serene lake dotted with lily pads and lined with beautiful blossoms of moonglow Echeveria.

Whisper Key

Where the bluffs meet the sea, this stretch of cliffs drops drastically off into the water, only sloping downward at Whisper Key. Here, a secluded stretch of white beach is surrounded by cliffs on three sides and ocean on the fourth, creating a space that feels private despite its existence in nature. The one way in is through the path in the cliffs that slopes downward at the center. Meanwhile, on the higher ground various trees and shrubbery flourish, though do not stretch far enough inward to block the sands from a view of the vast sky above.

Winterheart Forest

To the casual observer, Winterheart Forest might appear to be remarkable only for its seemingly endless expanse. However, those who have explored its fey and mystical depths will attest that it is a place quite unlike any other. Vast and ancient conifers stand like ineffable sentinels, primordial titans soaring ever skyward as if to challenge the very sky itself. Within the aegis of those moss-draped boughs, Winterheart is a place of shadowed secrets, where mystery permeates the air like mist, magic drips like dew from the lichen, and the line between dreams and reality becomes blurred.
