These mountains embrace this shrouded vale within like a crux, its spires piercing the gut of the sky to let in the gleaming innards of itself. From early spring to midsummer, the hollow shakes itself loose, and bright rivers rush to cleanse alpine roots. Streams are shier and hurry forever away beneath the boughs of these wealds. Autumn flushes the alpine to its very peaks, but winter is just as quick to chase it away and remain too long.

Claiming the northern regions is a frosted valley, blanketed by snow. These peaks and vast forests are home to the Stormguardians, residing beneath the stars. Safeguarded by ice-capped ledges, Stormguard lives a life of secrecy, their seclusion from the other packs keeps them from the misfortunes of rivalry and war. Incredibly suspicious of strangers, there is almost always someone keeping watch.
Stormguard’s allies are few and far between, relying on themselves for protection. Their seclusion from the other packs in both territory and communication has turned Stormguard into a fortress.

The pillars supporting Stormguard's foundation, House Brehn is an ancient bloodline and sacred in the pack's history, known for their centuries of rule over the kingdom. Their faith and devotion is unquestionable, inventing their own culture, you won't find another soul more entranced by the stars then them.
Creators of the notion "the stars will guide", House Brehn are the founders of their religion and believe in various norse gods, devoting several events and ceremonies to their gods or beloved seasons.
Only wolves born into the house are eligible to inherit the throne. Unlike some packs, however, Stormguard does not limit it's heir based on gender; it is the first-born's duty to claim their place as sovereign. If something obstructs their abilities to Stormguard, another heir from House Brehn will be chosen in their place.

Founders of the notion that 'the stars will guide' Stormrift is notorious for the spread of its theology. Its unique culture extends to the furthest corners of the world. Utilizing stars to permanently tether the living to the dead, the dapples of light across the midnight sky viewed as deceased companions.
Guided by the stars, Stormrift's faith follows the ideation of Paradise, better known as Valhalla, and the dead's part in their lives. Reuniting with their loved ones from the night sky, they appear as stars, embodying silver specks in the midnight blue, the watch from the heavens. Whispering to all they hold dear, the fallen beckon them forth to whisper their guidance and exchange soft pleasantries, providing a feeling of hope long lost. From the highest points, their whispers and smiles can be seen and heard.
