The Nightwish bloodline begins in deep Iceland, under the surname Brunhilde.
From the start, they practiced the ways of Norsemen, including the belief in Norse Gods and their stories.
Vikings to the marrow, the Brunhilde Clan traveled when they could to overtake and pillage other territories throughout the North.
Plenty of marriages came of these raids, leading to the Brunhilde line spreading into other areas and gaining plenty of bodies in rapid fashion.
Amaris Brunhilde was the daughter of the Chief, who gave her paw in marriage to a man who called himself, simply, Nightwish.
The man called Nightwish was cruel to his wife, giving her plenty of hallucinogens in her meals, which would work to both drive the Princess to insanity and become codependent on her husband.
It was upon the Chief finding out Nightwish’s cruelty that He challenged Nightwish for his daughter’s freedom. To the death, and it was agreed, as the Norsemen are proud beings.
The Chief won the battle, killing Nightwish with a shredding of his throat.
Amaris, in a fit of deranged fury, would then attack her father and kill him in turn, announcing herself as Amaris Nightwish in memory of her cruel husband.
The Chief’s wife would then be executed, and Amaris would reign supreme for ten years before dying of what is assumed to be old age. In her absence was left several broods of children, who would spread to rule over their own sub-villages with their children and grandchildren and so on.
Fenrir Nightwish would then come into the picture with his wife.
The monarchs birthed two daughters, Nyra and Eldritch Nightwish.
Fenrir was simply a cruel, vile creature, who would abuse his children. It was the day he attacked Eldritch and Nyra retaliated that the nasty bastard would punish her by forcing himself upon her.

Eldritch, then, would go by herself to a revered enemy clan. Bringing them back to her homeland fangs bared to get revenge for her traumatized sister.
Several Nightwish wolves were slaughtered that night, and the Sisters took off into the night.



Fur: Various colors and shades, always thick and long
Eyes: Normal eye colors for a Nightwish wolf range from Nyra's intense amber to blood red and other warm tones. Rare colors range from pitch white like Eldritch's to any shade of purple. Blues and Greens are non existent. 
Height: Tall to Very Tall, all Nightwish wolves are rather impressive in height and stature. Weight varies but is usually Heavy to Extra Heavy
Build: Athletic to Portly
Subspecies: Nightwish wolves are all known to be Mackenzie Valley Wolves with no other subspecies mixed in, and if there are, then in very small amounts.
 
Alignment: Most Nightwish wolves are Chaotic Evil, or Chaotic Aligned in general. 
Other Surnames: Brunhilde
Languages: All Nightwish wolves know at least Common, Icelandic, Old Norse, and Valryian tongue
