Sanatorium

The land we awaken in is hell and we, the Reapers of Sanatorium, are those who are tasked with cleansing the sinners who have awoken here. Some may call this world paradise, but we know the truth: It is all a test. We must trust the Divine Mother, the speaker of Death and the underworld. She will bring us to salvation by the blood and flesh of our kind.

Sanatorium

This cult pack is not for the light of heart,
as it is rife with terrible things.

Cannibalism, sacrifice, murder, torture etc.may be present.

devour, devour

We are the saints, given purchase over hell itself.
We are the sinners who have been absolved.
We are the devils, tasked with punishing the wicked.
We will devour the wicked and make the world new.

Sanatorium is a pack created with one goal in mind: To do Death's bidding. There are religious undertones in elements though they are not directly from any particular religions.

The Sinners

Newcomers, acolytes, those who come to Sanatorium for salvation and do not fight against the word of the Mother.

The Damned

Captured and held underground, these wolves are the captives held in isolation but for the few times they are brought to the surface to hear the sermons of the Divine Mother. Their minds, their bodies, and their souls will be broken until they beg forgiveness and become Disciples.

Tome of the Rock

Scratches are deeply embedded in the stone at the center of the Eye of Osiris. These scars are said to be words, written by the gods themselves. The Divine Mother claims to understand them and be able to read them (though of course this is not true - none can read.)

A trial that every wolf goes through when brought to the Eye of Osiris. In the dead of night, they must rise to the peak of the Rock and speak to the Divine Mother. No one Judgement is the same as another and She may give the Sinner a further task to prove their devotion. If successful, they will be made into Disciples.

Wolves of the Sanatorium grow stronger by devouring the sinner and the sins held in their flesh. Cannibalism is a way of life within the pack and it is to be utilized by all, from weaning to death.

Wolves of pure white or almost pure white are seen as pure, close to the Divine. They are to be revered and are often trusted more than those of darker coat colours. Silvers and tans too are respected, especially when paired with heavy white presence. Only those of lighter coats, the Pure, are given permission to breed - and only when hand picked and paired by the Divine Mother herself. That is not to say that darker furred wolves are not allowed among the ranks of the pack, but they are usually thought of as deceptive, not worthy of trust. They must work much harder than pale coated wolves to gain the trust of the Divine Mother but it is not impossible.

While the Divine Mother may pair wolves to breed, she separates the pregnant mother from the rest of the pack, bathing her in luxury until the end of the pregnancy. When the pregnant wolf feels she is about to go to labor, she and the Divine Mother will go down to the Mouth of Anubis, where the pups will be born. The Divine Mother will then send the new mother away and will care for the pups until their weaning. Often, the number of pups brought to the surface by the Divine Mother and the number of pups the pregnant mother claims to have bore will not match up, but this is unspoken. If the Divine Mother decides that a wolf will sire her own divine children, he may not refuse.

Upon a believer’s death, their body must be brought to the Eye and prepared, washed within the waters of the underworld and brought before the pack. The Divine Mother (or highest Witness if she is unavailable) is to remove the heart and devour it and after that, each member of the pack must have at least one bite. Death is not the end, but the beginning.
