Premature

Her head had ached when she woke up in the jungle with trees taller than the skies and humidity unnatural to her. Yet, her mistake had been leaving the garden for when she attempted to return to the vegetation to escape the intense heat, it was gone.

Now she had gone without food and longer without water. The sands were endless and constantly shifting and changing as winds rearranged the desert labyrinth. She was lost and the further she traveled, the more her mind toyed with her and created illusions of water and life. And here, it did it again except Suzune could feel her body falter. Her heart ceased to flutter at the sight of water for she had begun to lose hope.

She had escaped from the brothel house with murder on her hands only to die of starvation or thirst — whichever came first.

But the courtesan continued to walk for an unknown reason. It was not willpower for she had nothing to live for. The only thing Suzune had known was how to use her mouth and how to please. She had achieved little in life and had even less to look for. Yet, her feet still propelled her forward out of the animalistic instinct to survive.

And survival she would receive. The mirage faded into reality as the oasis grew closer rather than eternally out of reach. The shadows of trees flickered in the heat waves as her lips parted, almost tasting the sweetness of the water. Her slow walk began to speed up until she found herself on the outskirts of the oasis and the air grew a little cooler with the presence of water. Without checking her surroundings, Suzune would plunge into the water as it flooded her mouth with newfound vigor as it satisfied her thirst, and washed the lurking sweat away. She would stay underwater for a moment until her lungs pounded for air. Only then would she break the surface of the water with a loud gasp.

The man was out making his rounds, going to the most populated part of the desert so he could catch any unsuspected playthings. This day was one of those days. 

As he approached, he sniffed the air, taking in the scent of a shewolf, one that caught his attention quickly. Though, as he looked around for her for a moment, he finally spotted her breaking past the water, causing him to raise an eyebrow slightly. He thought for a moment about how he could do this, thoughts flickering from one thing to another. Perhaps, he would put on a bit of a show. 

And with that, he would plaster a smile on his face, a gentlemanly gesture as he called out. "You alright there?"

Her head tilted towards the man, a strange soul whose skin shimmered an unnatural pink — a betrayal of his albino nature. 

“I am,” she responded with the curl of a foreign accent lacing her tones. It wasn't enough to be distracting, only enough to embellish her English with exotic dialects. As Suzune stepped out from the lull of the water, russet fur clung to her frame, emphasizing her curvature and slender physique. Shaking off the water from a respectable distance, she would begin to approach the man. Perhaps had it been another woman, they would have grown bashful or embarrassed for being caught bathing, but it was a scene tamer than her former experiences.

“What brings you here, sire?” By now, Suzune was close to the man. Close enough to acknowledge their drastic difference in size and build. Her homeland's warriors prided themselves in technique, not pure strength. The weight in his paws and the way he carried himself were more akin to a mercenary than a warrior. But Suzune found this alluring for she saw the potential for shelter and protection if he took a liking to her. At least, temporary shelter. “I don't suppose you've come this way to greet a lost traveler,” she mused softly, urging him to come closer if he wanted to hear the saccharine that fell from her tongue.

The man watched her closely, red eyes following her every movement. Thankfully, he didn't have his normal blood covering his fur today, as it was already evening and he didn't have to worry about the sun burning his albino pelt. There was probably still a faint red tint, but at least it wasn't dripping blood at the moment. 

He heard her words, only raising an eyebrow as she moved closer, keeping a smirk hidden on his face. This was working perfectly for him. As she spoke of a greeting, he would hum for a moment, as if thinking it over. "Well, I'm always willing to help out someone new to the lands." He would move closer to her, aiming to nip at her shoulder and neck, moving his large body closer to her if she let him. 

"Perhaps we could help each other out tonight?" His voice was low and gruff as he spoke, hinting clearly to what he wanted, or at least the first part of it. This was the turning point as to how the night went from here on out.

The brute's body loomed over her as a behemoth would in regard to insignificant creatures. His muzzle pressed into the crook of her neck as the faint scent of blood wafted into her nostrils. His words tickled the fur inside her ears as he offered help, a small act of courtship Suzune was all too familiar with. The only exception had been that prior to her descent into the foreign lands, men would often pick their preferred sexual partners from behind a paper wall. Before, she was often showered in useless nothings in an attempt to buy her attention. But men were as foolish as they were rich, she could not offer something she didn't have a say in.

“I do not make it a habit to agree to such demands haphazardly,” she responded with a faint shake in her voice. Suzune was not used to responding "no,", especially to a mercenary king twice her size. A creature who could overpower her so easily it wasn't even fitting to call her resistance a struggle. “Help me first, then I'll warm your bed.”

He hummed for a moment, thinking and contemplating. Everything was going well so far, hopefully he could keep it this way. "I will give you a home, a den, food and water, however you are now going to be apart of Warcrest." He would watch the girl closely, waiting to see if she would accept this or if he would have to be a bit more forceful about it. 

He raised an eyebrow slightly as he waited, pausing for a moment. This could only go one of two ways.

 Her nails dug into the ground as she tested the brute more. As her teeth clenched and her jaws tensed, she would move as a cat would between a person's feet. Her head gently rubbed against his chest as her muzzle pointed upwards towards the corner of his lips. “Why don't we share dinner first, and then you can tempt me further?”

She did not care what she had to give to fill her belly and to sleep in the shade for a single night. If it turned out the man was not to her liking, she would leave and disappear. Hoping that the two never cross paths again.

He grinned slightly at her words, thinking for a moment before nodding. "Very well." He would begin to move away, eyes flickering over to a herd of camels he saw not too far away. "Stay here." He said simply before quickly moving towards them, using his skills and his pure muscle to take down a smaller one, though one that could feed the both of them. It wasn't too long before he came back with the carcass, dragging it over to her if she didn't try to run off before hand.

She envied the muscles rippled under his skin that allowed him the taste of the hunt. If only she had been raised differently, it could've been her jaws around the mammal's neck rather than his.

The man dragged the camel back to her as she watched with a flick of her tail. The corpse's legs dragged in the sand, leaving a trail of blood and sand to follow. When he dropped the creature before her, the courtesan delayed her share until he ate first. It was customary that those of higher status ate before her, and despite being cast into an unknown land, she still held these traditions close to her heart.

When he did take the first bite, she would follow close behind and tentatively take her own. The warmth of the flesh filled her bosom as hunger clawed its way up her throat. She would fight back the temptation to shove her face into the camel's stomach and gorge until her stomach grew bloated, and she retched the food up and feasted again. Suzune had never known hunger like this. In the red-light district, somebody always fed her. In the wild, she had no one to depend on but herself, which wasn't sufficient. 

Despite her hunger, she would finish before Satan. Her stomach still craved more, but she would deny it. If the only thing she had was her body, she had to ensure that it wasn't forfeited in favor of her whims. With a faint smile tinted red with blood, she inquired. “Does my lord wish to return now? Such a fine meal deserves only the sweetest of rewards.”

The man watched her for a moment, content with the fact that she hadn't tried to run. As much as he would have loved to drag her back kicking and screaming, having her compliant was nice too. He noticed that she waited for him to eat and did so, taking a bite and watching her start eating soon after. 

It didn't take them long to finish for now, raising a head to look at her as she spoke. A grin showed on his face as he nodded, pointing his head back towards home. "I'll show you the way." He said simply as he walked, his eyes shining with determination. He had so many plans after this, but none of them ended with her leaving. She was now his forever, no matter how much she thought that wasn't the way it would work.

Suzune would have offered her hand to the unnamed man if they were humans to lead her to her demise. Her hands would be soft, her body ripe for the picking — his picking. 

Satan unnerved her in a way that she could not pinpoint. Her instincts whispered danger in her ears, yet her mind told her that this was the way to survive. To seduce and use. Given very little, she had to make do with her narrow skillsets. But as she followed the man deeper into the heart of the desert, she paused to look back at the oasis which had slowly faded from sight and, with it, her hopes of ever leaving her new cruel master.
