Travelling to the neighboring territory, Vendrussel sought for the crabs that laid to it's beaches. She found her way to the bluffs, looking down to the hidden beach that almost seemed impossible to enter ; but she knew the entrance down. A slim rockway of stairs that led to it's treasures, and even from above could she see the fresh morning crabs lightly grazing the sand. With a hunger to her stomach, she licked her chops and made her way down.

[Image: dex0zp5-c44ec28b-d303-4a0e-a8a6-a0d1c4bd...RAPsUWdb38]

A mad dash to the crabs, red in beauty and fresh to the picking, it was a quick grab to one while the rest were fleeing, and clacking their claws away. Some attempting to hide within the sands, others retreating to the oceans.. But quick efforts let her get one, as a crack resounded in the silent Whisper Key, as she crunched the shell for an immediate death.

One down, more to go.

loa and marie often went whale watching. when the were tearing down each other's words and throw themselves to so willingly to hurting the other and measuring their lives with the SI unit of dashed dreams and how she raptured on about she wished she did not mother so early, they would watch their tails wave hearty goodbyes to better things.

back when loa thought she could go nowhere else, and there was nowhere else for her but their shanty and the smell of thick gauze made from fruit pulp her mother would plaster to make her smell pretty, as she called it.

she traveled back to the key, stoic in its silence, and found something she thought she knew. "... excuse me, have we met?"

@Serenity will be joining Ghidorah here too. pls allow her to post after me if everyone’s good with that <3

The god is back, much to their enemies dismay. For the last battle they had, he took down two of their wolves and badly injuring one by chewing on their face if he remembers right. But now, Ghidorah searches for blood, just as he usually does. Because war isn’t a joke to him and he plans on winning or at least dropping as many bodies as he possibly can.

And one of those bodies? @Vendrussel would be their main focus. She has been their main focus and she will remain so.

Today though, Ghidorah didn’t have anything spontaneous planned. No, quite the opposite. He asked the beautiful Serenity to stalk Dragonford’s borders today with him. Intentionally so, they did not get too close. They were merely meant to watch and smell — gain new information if they could.

But they got something sooo much better.

A scent. A fresh one that lead out of their borders and away, away, away all on their own. Ghidorah did not recognize it as Venn’s, but perhaps Serenity would. For all he cared about was that it was a lonesome Dragonford member…one that he could sink his teeth into and relay the message that Northfall doesn’t fuck around. Especially that Ghidorah is back and especially when the war is over a wrongly killed family member.

And ohh, would Ghi tell @Ragnar of this too. Perhaps, after this, Dragonford’s people would learn to be scared of leaving the safe, coziness of their dwelling. All for fear that the real Dragon God will be breathing down their neck waiting to spill a false prophets blood.

So as they follow the scent, it leads them to the beach. Further and further, it leads them to two wolf like shapes on the shore.

The Northfallian’s move from the side, as to stay downwind, hidden away at least a mile and a half away.

Ghidorah would turn to Serenity then, not recognizing either wolf. “Which one is in Dragonford? I don’t recognize either one.” He hums lowly. “I mean, we could kill both if we can’t tell…” A chuckle would fall from his lips, awaiting the woman’s answer.

The woman had been lingering around Ghidorah a lot recently ever since he appeared in Northfall, enjoying being around him and so, when she was asked to scout the border with him, she said yes, though her heart constricted slightly. She was still furious with Vendrussel, blaming her for everything that had happened. After all, it was the dragon woman that had wanted her pups dead to begin with, and look where they were now. However, her mind still drifted slightly to Jun, hoping that she didn't see him.

Nonetheless, she pushed those thoughts away and followed him to the border, keeping her eyes wide as they looked around, stalking quietly. She was kind of impressed by how he was able to move so quietly even though he was a rather large creature. But, as soon as her eyes drifted from him to the ones in front of them, she would let out a low growl that only Ghi could hear, a huff coming from her nose as he asked if she knew who they were.

Pointing with her nose to Vendrussel, she would speak up, hatred clear in her voice. "That one is the leader of the ford, a child hating woman with not an ounce of kinship in her bones." She barely even looked at the other wolf, "Other is either a new member or a rogue, I don't know them." It was hard for her to tell if the other was apart of the pack or not, though she had no beef with them, only the dragon queen herself.

she lurkin

It was no secret within Dragonford that the feline was particularly possessive of their Dragon Queen, seething whenever someone might come to take her place -- she was still having issues with that new brat, all young, small and pulling at everyones heartstrings. So perhaps that made her even more possessive than usual, her lengthy tail curling at the tips as she stalked Vendrussel as she oft did but more so lately, her emotions still haywire.

Olympia never claimed to be smart with her emotions or understanding them, thinking herself high above the rest and no one could change that thought. Not even those rotten boars whom she hoped were dead, in someones belly or rotting away somewhere that was deserving.

What the feline did not like was the abundance of wolves that lurked on the sands. Some a distance away but Olympia from her distance could scope out the 180, her frown marring her feminine features as she prowled forward. Really, she didn't care who they were -- they were so far below her that why should she give them the time of day? It was this other wolf in the far distance that seemed to be closer to Vendrussel that Olympia was frothing at the mouth over.

Her tongue lashed out against her lips as she stalked through the sands, a mile off and not at all happy.

Vendrussel had yet to notice lingering figures, a mixture of Northfall and Dragonford alike. She was within the realms of hunting, gathering as she went. A continual spree of crab-gathering, although it seemed some started to make ways to go under the sand. She was promptly digging, chasing after their fleeing forms as a pile was to be formed with a few — although as she was digging and managed to grab one..

Turned her head to a stranger, as a crunch echoe'd about, and dropping the dead crab, "I don't think so," she responded plainly, "but i'm Vendrussel," something felt familiar, but nothing that she knew of. Smiling ildly without an awareness, introduced herself warmly to the stranger. She smelled like a loner, nothing that stood out besides the scent of the sea.

her hair was all linearly polarized; a rayleigh-scattered blue to a point. vendrussel was a reflection between the sea and sky, fjordic, as if ornately harvested by the last ice merchant of chimborazo with a devotion to a lost tradition.

was the air suddenly charged or was it just all the people she didn't know that were staring at the two withal their knickers in a twist?

she was probably just being all heady. "ah, eskize m ankò. i washed up back dat a-way, where de bluffs be," she turned to bob her chin from whence she came. "i named myself according to the lwa my maman prayed to. is dat too self-important?" she rattled herself with laughter, thinking of the way marie would probably strike her down if she could.

"you crabbing? i be knowin' a t'ing or two myself," loa trilled, because what was she if not a young woman with a disposition to charm? she could practically tell dead people to get a life. she flicked her tail, wading towards the water, periodically bobbing her head in and out until she found what she was looking for. she swept her tail back and forth before -- "mèd! ah, i got one!"

Also if your charie gets attacked, please be sure to add your updated HP to an ooc note on your next post please <3

I rolled a 4. Ghi is attacking one of Venn’s hind legs :)

That one is the leader of the ford,

The fallen God’s scarred maw cracks into a vicious smirk, showing long teeth made for what he fully intends to do. Even as he listens to the rest of what Serenity has to say, the smirk continues, but when she’s finished…

“Good.” He rumbles. “Then let’s kill her and win this war, eh Fox-Tailed?” His gaze moves to Serenity, eyes dangerous and blood thirsty.

There he’d nod his head, getting up from his stalking position. Multicolored orbs are firmly settled on the woman just off in the near distance.

A plan swirls in his fucked up head. “Don’t attack the stranger unless they attack you. Go for the leader.” He says confidently.

“Let’s go.”

And he’s off. Like a true man of the North, he charges in. He runs as fast as his legs will carry him. Closer and closer and closer to his target. At the last quarter mile he would shift his trail to move more behind Venn, but surely the other wolf would see him. Surely, when he got close enough, Venn would smell and hear him too.

But he doesn’t care. He doesn’t need the element of surprise. He has his teeth and the will of a god.

She has nothing.

And so he would lunge for her, aiming for the soft tendon of her hind leg, or anywhere on her hind leg he could grab. It’s always good to go for the legs…that way, they can’t run away as fast.

He would fully expect Serenity to move in like a mussel right after him too. For she sounded as if she was ready for her pound of flesh too…

Rolled a 2 - HP 25 - attacking Vendrussel

The woman had been so stuck into her own thoughts that she didn't really comprehend what Ghi was saying. Sure, she heard him, but it wasn't until he rushed forward that she snapped out of her own thoughts, causing her to gasp slightly. Sure, she hated Ven, but was she willing to kill her? Serenity wasn't entirely sure, but the hatred she felt in her bones suggested that she might.

Nonetheless, as he rushed forward, she would do the same, aiming straight for Vendrussel as she did what she was told, ignoring the other wolf as long as they didn't attack her. She aimed for the dragon queen's shoulder, teeth hoping to grip onto her as her body continued forward, hoping to shove her off of her feet or cause her to stumble at all.

HP: 30
Dice roll: 6
Attacking: Ghidorah
Attack: Lunging for Ghidorah in attempts to knock him away from Vendrussel / tackle him away from her

Olympia doesn't care who they are. She knows of them. They had held a meeting of what it meant yet Olympia cared nothing for the politics of wolves. All the feline caref for was Vendrussel and secretly the boy @Ghost. She recognised one as the thing named @Serenity -- Olympia hadn't noticed much of her absence to begin with, given that she wasn't particularly note worthy when she had been called one of them. A Dragon she could have been yet instead she had opted to be nothing more than an irritating parasite.

She didn't know the blue touched man that lunged forward, making a straight line for her Dragon. He was big, she could tell that from the distance as her own legs sped up into a run to cover the sand between them. She knew from her time with wolves that her mouth was bigger, her canines thicker and her claws sharper. Her flaws were not considered, not by her, for she inherently thought she was superior to 98% of the population.

He desired to harm her Dragon. She would hurt him, she decided, her paws thudding against the sand towards the fray. The fray that the traitor threw herself into and Olympia snarled; how dare she! She had once pledged allegiance and when things had not gone her way, she had split -- Olympia had thought wolves were told to be such loyal beasts. Now here she stood, against the Dragon herself. There was audacity and there was stupidity and the creature held both in spades. For one so ugly, she thought a lot of herself, clearly.

Olympia's vision was enraged, her whiskers twitching as she launched herself forward with a deafening roar that clung her throat as she saught to devour the man first. He was bigger, more of a threat and she would opt to eliminate him first. The tigress threw herself into the mix with protective, possessive fury and lunged, claws out with the intent to tackle the man away from her Dragon. Olympia was oft an angry beast, unstable with her emotions and no ability to handle them -- but today, today she was enraged.

Vendrussel was hers.

Her dragon.

She would desire his skin, so that she might sleep on it each and every night with the reminder that no one could take her blue Dragon from her and if they tried -- well, she would have an example.

"Names are important, it is not self-important, especially when washed here with new beginnings, as many of us had." She nodded in approval of so, if a name did not feel suiting, Vendrussel saw no reason not to re-name one self. Something grand as well, though a name was still lacking at the moment, the other moved forward to join onto the hunt.

She was smiling, a praise would be in order until she whipped her head to see the encroachment of wolves, of Northfall wolves. A surprise attack! They snarled and moved, coming at her with a force, and she pushed lightly the stranger away so that she would not be caught up within the claws and fangs of this ambush, a wolf she did not know.. And one that was all too familiar.

"A coward as you are," she narrowed a few onto Serenity, "where even my ford — one that you hailed from before, had helped to save you, and even perished in battle! Yet your jealousy persists!" She was offended, where even Belial had fallen for the grace of saving others, an uneeded sacrifice against the boars, including this woman, and yet even then, she rather cause trouble only time after giving birth, and seek a vengeance against for the supposed 'stolen man,' one that she accused of Vendrussel so long ago. A man she couldn't have, and still remained within Dragonford — Jun.

She could not help but wonder what lies Serenity has told, to draw a man here alongside herself to attack. Vendrussel had given her two choices, to prevent a litter in this warring times, or be sent elsewhere, to be safe. Yet, in the end she chose none: and left.

There was scorn upon her face, as her hackled raise and snarled, the feeling of attacks upon her, a leg and a shoulder ; but she was not alone. The tigress that been holding firm as of late, who made an apparent fact of a jealousy to the newest young, had followed her through. A roar of so, a ferocity of a tiger that lured to try and move the beast away, a man coated in scars and blue's. He was larger, she could feel his strength tighten around in a hold, but was not enough, as she too would break free, and soon lunge at this man with a ferocity.

He must be taken down before the traitor, and she would see to it, with the help of the Tigress who tried to lure him away from the grab of her limbs — she would hope this moment of confusion would allow Vendrussel to give a concise strike against him, any opening she could find, as she tore away from Serenity.

lwa wheeled around vendrussel's shoulder, as momentarily that feeling of headiness that had assumed her jolly personality was replaced with the soberness of the hippocampus and his pygmy plover that tore down the bluffs.

she was cast aside. "hey," she whispered, wanting from frame of reference in this displacement problem. so it was envy? she could understand it, she had only just learned this woman who she assumed was some pretty northern angler was the captain of her own crew, or ford as she proclaimed the tawny woman had disowned.

it mattered little to her. they had only just met, all the sweetest words in the world and chin-wagging they had done in the past few minutes didn't obligate her to do anything. still, she insisted.

she lived with no regrets because she did what she saw was right, even if it was a half-witted decision.

her muscle memory curled inside her chest like nautilus, it was never behind her, those few years with the siren's nest. the battles, the spars that often cut too close, the stress-induced beatdowns for dominance, it felt closer to her now as the cycle turned.

she wheeled her head to this doña marina and bore her head down to meet hers in a perfect isolated instance for velocity, planning to draw her to the water to execute what jhonny had unforgivingly leared into her.

Ghi HP: 10
Rolled a 7, attacking Ven.
Also rolled a 1d2 on whether or not he’d be able to escape the tiger. Rolled a 1 for escape.

Ghidorah snaps and shakes at Ven’s heel, hoping she’d never be able to walk proper if she did end up fleeing with her life this day. Though even being as distracted as he is, he’s aware of his surroundings. He knows Serenity is there, taking her pound of flesh from the woman before them. Only, he isn’t completely aware of the massive beast coming in behind him.

In that moment, he’s surprised. It’s the first time he’s been surprised in quite some time.

It’s exhilarating. Yet painful. As could be expected.

Even as inch long claws hook into his flesh and send him sprawling with the feline, his maw — bloody and wide — rips open in a manic smile. A harsh, ashen bark of laughter is forced out of his throat along with a rush of pained breath.

The wild look in his eye flicks over to Ven’s form then back to the cat as a struggle of strength and sheer will begin between them.

“I don’t have time for you, cat!” He growls, manic grin still splitting his face and he wriggles and kicks, snaps and bites right towards her face.

Oh, but he knows the risk of fighting cats. They have teeth — claws — that are much more dangerous than their own. But he’s a god. What doesn’t kill him, only makes him one step closer to divinity. And what does…well, just gives him a one way pass to god-hood all over again.

And if he dies, so be it. His sights are set on the bitch @Ragnar’s sworn to kill.

So, Ghidorah, for a fellow God’s sake, will kill her. If not this day, then another.

But this cat…oh, she’s in the fucking way. And he feels those claws ripping and tearing his flesh. He feels those teeth sinking and crunching. But Ghidorah’s a man, he’s got a one track mind (as do most) and his target is not this fucking cat. At least not today.

Oh, but he doesn’t have to go to Ven, she came to him. Also sinking her teeth into his flesh. Scarred lips wrinkle and snarl into a crazed smile, a split, snake-like tongue on display coated in blood.

So with strong limbs, dangerous fangs, and a roar that shows just how much blood the tiger is letting, Ghidorah frees himself from the tigers hold. His injuries make him slow, vulnerable — even dizzy. His fur, usually white and deep navy — shiny and coated in crimson.

Beautiful.

Sure to be drug under the viscous cats reign once more, he risks it for another bite to her, what appears to be, friend. He snaps impeccably strong jaws for Ven’s face. Because if she wants to get all up in his, he might as well return the favor. And so he would go for an eye, her snout, her head. Flesh. Flesh. Give him his and Ragnar’s pound of flesh. Flesh that they had stolen with a life along side it.

HP: 18
Attack: 7
Focus: Vedrussel's back leg. (whichever is closes to Serenity)

She didn't know what to do, her heart thudding as her nervousness persisted. However, as Vedrussel spoke to her, Serenity found all that fear and unsureness vanish, leaving nothing but pure anger. Growling at her, she would shake her head violently, tears springing to her eyes at the mention of the worst time of her life. She didn't even care that Ghi was there, or that a tiger had shown up.

"What bullshit lies! You didn't come to save me, we both know that. You came to save you allies, the leader of Elysium. If it was just me who got taken, would you have even lifted a paw?" She grunted as she felt the attack coming from the side, not realizing that someone else was attacking her. She didn't care.

It caused her to stumble as she snarled at the woman. "Stay out of this, unless you like the idea of protecting a child murderer." Turning back to Ven, she would aim to lunge forward, hoping to grip onto her back leg. "You never even wanted those children in the first place! Yet you accepted @Gaia. Were you going to kill her too when she took up too many supplies?"

Serenity was probably going a little crazy, but she also was still hurt. That, and the whispering of Ragnar and Sindri caused the hatred she had for Ven to grow and morph into this.

HP: 30

Attack: Lunging for Ghidorah in attempts to knock him away from Vendrussel / tackle him away from her

In truth, she didn't care for the politics. She had heard from Vendrussel the state of the parasite Serenity and really -- she had gathered herself that the creature had been a fool. Knowing a war had brewed and still, thought it was smart and loving to bring new life into the world. Olympia was but a yearling and yet even she knew that it was a bad idea. Likely she thought she was some amazing person for choosing to throw some tantrum and leave but all she was to the world, to Olympia, was an idiot.

And now here she was, lavishing a life with the enemy. Olympia wondered what sweet words had been whispered into her ear, for what else could convince her to throw away all the dignity that made her a wolf? Only sweet words and attention might bring someone like Serenity to their legs. If it were this blue, brindled, ugly beast that had garnered her attention then Olympia thought she might vomit all over them. She had seen wolves and despite thinking they were not the most attractive beasts, she knew true ugliness when she saw it.

The tiger paid little attention to the dark wolf at Vendrussel's side, knowing only she didn't seek to fight against them but with them. The brindled parasite spoke and Olympia ignored him, savouring only the fact she might see him beneath her paws, gasping for breath and bleeding from every slit she might offer him. He sought to harm her Dragon and that crime was punishable by death. Maiming, if she was feeling kind. He returned his attentions back to Vendrussel, teeth snapping towards her face.

Olympia snarled, loud and proud as she lunged, uncaring for the way Serenity spat her silly words. She could see out of the corner of her ghostly gaze that the chit was going for the back end of Vendrussel, smaller, weaker and less of a threat to the situation so Olympia paid her no mind as she opted to focus all of her energy on the big one. Big, brindled and fucking annoying.

She opened her mouth like a snake seeking to unhinge it's jaw, lunging forward to embed her fangs into his shoulder to try and throw her weight with him, teasing his weight with her own to snake his attention from Vendrussel. ^^

at Ghidorah!

She looked at Serenity, "no one deserves the horrors that day. Not even a fool whose jealousy clouds their heart." Vendrussel was unsurprised by her hatred and delusion that was spewed. Words that surely she would tell to Northfall and others have the hideous deeds of she thought that dragoness did — but factors remained, options that was given and the pride of another rather let everything rot, for the one she originally wanted, did not return such a favor. The heart of a maiden was surprising, but it was unfortunate that her actions continued to cause time and time again the demise of her own.

If she was sent elsewhere, Vendrussel thought, and took the paw that was given. Perhaps what had happened that day, wouldn't have carved into all their minds. Her children could still be alive.

She could feel the rush of many and the attack of so, her leg grabbed and pulled, the feeling of wanting to crush the right one with a full-force. They had all intended to kill her, just as she had. However promises her said and Vendrussel would not return the fruits of that — she had caused destruction, even if the desire was to full-force their own assassination back. It would not be pretty — but she still, despite all else, live and learned as a warrior of these lands. Partaking in the memories of training through the motherland, her sword was finely tuned and adjusting so. She was at her prime, as both body and soul.

Feeling the tugging and gripping of Serenity, the large man pushed himself at her. Fangs gliding and roars given, she was weakened ; but Vendrussel was not alone. Olympia came forth and snaking into his shoulder like a true predator, size if a tigress and strength that far surpassed any wolf upon these lands. She did not need to move far to mimic, a sinking fang into his other and a pressing down. She knew his limits were at his near. An eye casting toward Serenity, almost expecting her to let go by their near-defeat, for she had confidence that Northfall would not win their attempted kill.
