The dawn of the new day had Eirene sitting atop a a boulder looking over the cliffside of the territory. Across the fjord had been an outlet of rocks, sticking out like a sore flower in a field.
She assumed no less that, that was the unformidable Ford. The woman would sigh, continuing to look upward to the sky, uttering soft prayers of forgiveness and fortitude. On the occasion, such as today, she'd pray for fertility, too. Not for any dire reason, but her mother instilled her with the desire to have children. As she did now, she had Primrose, but...
The thought clawed at her mind, deep and envious to have full-blooded children. She felt immense guilt admitting the thought, but it was how she was raised. She'd prefer if Northfall would take responsibility together to raise him, not just her. What a cruel mother she had, instilling such a belief of blood superiority into her. It had been far too late for her to overturn such a moral, but she supposed she had in some ways. Primrose was still lingering, wasn't he?
The woman would pray for forgiveness for having those thoughts. She wasn't allowed to be selfish.

The woman would pray for healthy children, in particulate with sons above all. The Gods would listen to her, they had to. She'd left so much behind to follow their path, it was time for her penance. So she would wait.
