For weeks, the ironborn roamed. It was not unusual for Rökkvi to vanish from his home with the approach of Springtime, for the season lured many a bachelor away. He was no stranger to the hunt for receptive females, though he was especially picky over those he covered.

None he found roused any real interest within him, for they simply did not match his "type". The brute liked a wolfess who was sure of herself, who'd make him fight for her attention. Someone strong of body and mind, like the wayward Hela who invaded his thoughts from time to time.

Rökkvi made to return to his tundra home to recuperate from his travels, and felt both shocked and frustrated to find the raven's keep gone. In its place was something unnatural, and the rogue dared not cross its verdant borders to investigate. He simply stared for a while, unsure what the hell was going on or where his brothers might've vanished to.

After a time, with nowhere to which he belonged, Rökkvi roamed once more. He trailed South, searching for any sign that Solpallur and the others might've relocated nearby.

Never did she need the pull of a season to desire, Freya felt no different now as she danced through the Moors. It had become a favourite place of hers, the floral scent and pretty colours reminding her of a field that had been near her home in the mortal realm. Today it held a Freya that was demanding and wanting, her multicoloured gaze seeking out someone that might be blessed to walk her path.

Today she wanted. Today she itched. Today Freya sought to tempt and tempt she would, long since skilled in the art she would dance the dance and she would do it well. The agouti she wolf would find someone certainly, large and brutish as he stalked through the rolling hills. Across her lips her tongue would sweep, approval glittering in her multicoloured gaze as she watched him. "You seek something?" She cooed, petals tickling her ankles.^^

From the frozen wastes, Rökkvi roamed far enough to find a place where the milder temperatures encouraged thaw. Snow had thinned greatly across the Alpine Moors and in its place, wildflowers grew in dense clusters of vibrant shades. Initially the brute felt intrigued, curious of the vast sea colour that his life had been void of for so long during his time in the tundra, though that curiosity was short-lived.

The floral scent was overwhelming, and he very nearly considered turning back; there was no way his brothers would've gone beyond the ice lands, anyway. Something else in the air caught his attention, however - something subtle, delightful enough to alter his course. With his tail flagged and ears pricked, the ironborn pressed on until he at last located what'd so distracted him.

With a deep frown, Rökkvi judged the she-wolf as they each seemed to veer one another's way. His gilded stare searched her frame for any sign that he should not pursue this conquest, finding nothing short of perfection as he prowled closer. She was tall and solidly built with a dense pelage not unlike his own kin, yet he saw femininity in her features.

There was a lilt to her strong voice that drew him in, a confidence in the way her own gaze drank deep the sight of him. The steel-furred beast straightened his posture, welcoming her to look.

“Perhaps it is you I seek,” Rökkvi responded smoothly.

Freya's eyes twinkled as he came closer, unable to find himself doing anything else. Momentarily she thought of man and how really, no matter the form, they would do things of similar nature. This one though, Freya could and would appreciate with glee. Black and grey, eyes of gold -- he was a man well built and she shivered, her tail slowly slipping from side to side behind her. He welcomed her wandering gaze and she would smile, the expression sitting prettily upon her freckled features but only moments later did it morph into a confident smirk as she heard his words, ears cupping to the tone of his voice.

"Of that I have no doubt," the goddess cooed loftily, still though she did not approach. To her he would come or he would not come at all, she thought wickedly. It was a game she liked to play but also it was her soul deep appreciation of being so desired that it was they who came to her. She would tempt, certainly and for him she would do just that, his smooth voice settling pleasantly in her mind.

Freya tilted her head as she eyed him, smirk dancing on her lips as she wondered how he thought this might go. "Or perhaps we might change seek for desire," Freya cooed as she laughed gently, though not a laugh to mock but a laugh of appreciation. "Perhaps I desire you all the same," she hummed, wondering how this might have gone had it been another life time, another form and a lot more room to be bold. ^^

He'd always been a creature of few words. Instead of voicing a response to the nameless she-wolf's observation, he confirmed her suspicion by snaking his tongue between fangs to sweep it hungrily over a jowl.

Tail arching proudly over his powerful haunches, Rökkvi rumbled lowly and prowled forward to test her limits. He could see clearly that she was receptive to his presence, but was naturally wary of her lure. It was not uncommon for his conquests to welcome his advance, then turn on him with teeth.

There was a stirring in his loins at the thought, aroused at once to remember how sex had oft been his reward following a scrap.

“Hmm,” the ironborn rumbled, nostrils flared to inhale the heavy aroma of her as he veered in close, eager suddenly to push his chest to the wolfess' hip to test how the contact be received.

She spied the movement of his tongue along with a vibrant glee glittering in her bicoloured gaze -- was it all for her? Freya thought so. He stood powerful, strong and proud with his tail flagged above him and Freya's blood thrummed with excitement in her veins. A man of little words he would instead choose to come forward with a rumble and Freya could not nought but watch, intrigued to see what approach the quiet but proud man would take.

He opted to draw near, bumping his sturdy chest into the curve of her hip and she purred her approval as she moved to bite teasingly at his shoulder as she curved her frame to him. Along him did she press then, looking to see how far he would go. ^^

He anticipated the contact, felt the press of her fangs to the flesh of his shoulder, and his arousal intensified. The brute parted his own haws in a snarl, fierce and guttural, though the display was not an aggressive one.

He was eager to show her that he was unafraid of any challenge.

So he pursued the mystery she-wolf, nipping and mouthing, keen and determined, until at last they came together as though their bodies belonged.
