please bare with me as i RP with myself — this is to log this point in time for RP as it's an important milestone within Vermillion's history. i am embarrassed dont watch me LMAO

As time went on and so did the disappearance of her siblings.. She.. She wanted to be among them. To gain the courage to what they had done — though in truth she didn't know if they simply left because they wanted to, kidnapped or of another possibility. Unfortunately the timing could not be worse for the cries of young was resounding within the forest, her assumed siblings. Though the thought whether they were also sire to Vengeance was a tricky question, because knowing her mother, she'd at least announce it.. Right?

But as days went on she felt more uncomfortable within the forest. The desire to find herself out there was greater and greater. Vermillion talked more and more to others that simply continued to verify this feeling ; but she was scared to run off from the family she so knew. Though uncomfortable at times, they were all that she knew — and wasn't extremely willing to simply disappear no matter the heartache they gave her sometimes.. They still, were family. Some, nicer then others.

She approached the Queen's den, a silence coming through from the sleeping siblings as she meekly motioned with a, "Mother?"

Now locked within the den, the Queen did not move often.. Recently one by one did the children who stayed within Elkshire slowly came swarming in a curiosity, to what had happened. It was hard to explain, words that normally she did with such an ease simply seemed to fail her so. A struggling what to explain and how to but in the end she couldn't maintain the image of a perfection she so hoped to ease to.

Exhausted, the Queen Mother looked outside the den to her one of her young. Vermillion, shy and often one that was a cry'er, but she was one of the few that did not stay or seemingly, had intention to. Yet Celnes could see her looking out with such a suspicion, but her daughter was such a scaredy cat, wouldn't imagine she'd leave by herself. At one point she saw the girl drawn into that heretic deer ; but he never returned. She lifted her head and looked lovingly, at the Princess, with a silence but an urging for her to continue.

She wasn't here to check up on the Queen.

There was a silence, an awkwardness hanging as she didn't get a verbal responds from her mother, but just a smile as if she was waiting for more. Vermillion felt her mouth dry, but.. She knew she needed to, and that there was hope. At the very least it was not with a disappearance, but a begging of sorts to go beyond ths claim of hers. If she could just word it right.. The Queen would be satisfied. At least, so she was hoping. Her mother was always careful in wording, and often knew how to side-step questions that made an unrest to the first litter.

But Vermillion didn't know the extent of her lies and swaying, only some of the siblings have figured it out.

"I met someone.." a whisper, almost, she felt on the verge of tears, "and.. I want to uhm.." a gasping, through air, "I want to join them within the plains! For some time.."

Even though she knew she had to be careful within her word-choice, that didn't mean Vermillion knew how to.

Her children gone, and others promised to stay within the Queen's desperation and despair of so. She didn't know whether it was to simply comfort her or not, but she took the words to heart. If she wasn't bed-bound, most likely would be hovering over them as the search for the others continued on.. But no word was yet given, as patiently hoping they would either come home, or at the very least someone would hear word of them.

But a surprise to be ; one of her weakest young, rather then running away, had asked. She of course, was displeased with a narrowed look while watching her meek daughter explore these words, trembling so and looking around out of the den to see if anyone was coaching her. It was unusual, especially strange if this girl thought of it on her own to leave elsewhere ; something unexpected that she would ask.. But the way that Vermillion looked out, gave Celnes some thought that she wanted to.

But still.. At the moment she was desperate to hold her young — and yet, it could not be forgotten the conversation with that dirty deer. She felt lonely, and unwanted at the very least. And out of all that.. She didn't run away, but is asking.

"Who are they?"

Not much was said, but the Queen had lost her smile and was staring narrowingly at Vermillion. It made her nervous to say the least. The look that felt like a disappointment, a watching just as she done during the 'royal' lessons, to say the least. But it wasn't a rejection — she just had to pull through. Make it known she wasn't leaving the family, but.. But.. Just wanted to see elsewhere. Be beyond the 'Princess' of the unholy bunch of Elkshire.

"Her name is Kore.. She runs a group within the Plains called Greenwood.. She's red!" and not mention the white, "she seems nice.. I thought maybe, I could.. Stay over, for a bit." Her words were not concise or well, though thought within her mind she could not form properly to give a solid argument. She wished to say potential allies for her power-hungry mother, and to strengthen bonds outside of so — maybe that way she could leave within a peace, and a love to add.

Yet she struggled, shuffling her paws and gaining the ounce of courage to even say any of this. It was out of character for herself, if any knew Vermillion — but it just certified her desire to keep home, and to see the world itself. She wanted to eat the cake.

She knew not within the plains, and vaguely knew that Teodora ventured toward the mountains. There was a few that said they were from the plains, or by chance Celnes had met a wolf beyond it's rivers. It was a bit surprising, to here that someone within that vicinity had entered the forests and even tempted her own. A curiosity, to who these Greenwood wolves were.. But at the very least ; Vermillion mentioned she was red. A dissatisfaction was eased just a bit with the thought of someone around that was of a more suitable coloring, especially if her young was looking up to them. It was a far better choice then the deer, if she had to have a fondness for someone.

Yet.. Someone who dare so to try and lure her child? Especially in vulnerable moments? But knowing Vermillion it most likely was not a recent event — she was a girl who would mull over the smallest issues and present them moments later, even if their timing wasn't perfect. The young squirmed for her teats, and she was quick to shuffle them for food to get them hushed.

If she could, the Queen would go to herself to determine if these wolves were suitable for a Deorwine. But this was the perhaps first favor her daughter mentioned wanting to do — as well, as not suiting much to the Elkshire throne.. Even if she wasn't too please of another young desiring to leave ; she had asked. A still homeage within her system, to the end harnessing the name they so have.

But she could not leave with her. Celnes called for @Remus.

Left out if the loop on the internal happenings of the 'royal' family, Remus tended to his duties, walking the lands in silence. That silence was broken by the call of the mad queen. So duty called.

About a half and hour of walking and Remus had arrived in the scene. "Your Highness..."

He had never thought of her as his queen but, even the phrase: your Highness, was starting to leave a bad taste on the tongue.

Her mother said nothing, but instead a low calling for the guard. A nervousness, taking over ; because she couldn't tell what the Queen was thinking. She half expected for a firm no, or a picking to who they were and why. Then there was the unknown, for she really didn't know what her mother would think during all when her siblings were at the moment disappearing, and now more appearing — overall discourse.

She looked over at Remus, before looking at her paws.

"Vermillion has taken an interest in a pack named Greenwood within the plains," she had noticed her daughter taking a liking to the guard. Finding her enjoying his training moments, and if so, on occasion walking with him. Though Celnes hasn't seen those moments, she could smell their pathways mixing ; and wondered how her shy cherry, would take an interest to the stoic Remus?

"I'd like you to go there with her. Make sure it's safe, and suited for a Princess." Part of Celnes believed that letting her daughter taste the outside world and its freedom — would scare her. Seeing the bad, and being alone within the world would show her that all that she has is the family. A scare, where she'd come back home and the Queen wouldn't have to worry about her desiring to leave ; at the very least, pay attention to her more.

She wondered if she did the same to the others, that they'd have stayed.. Celnes prays to the High Elk, all three are safe. Though some suspicion were a few may be, she was too weak to go herself.

Giving this moment his full attention, the intrigue here was odd.  The queen had called him here to escort her daughter to a far away pack.  Remus wondered what it was about, worried about the poor girl.  Was the queen trying to get of her daughter? Was she simple diplomatic fodder?

Breaking his attention from the queen, he caught the glance of the child, she seemed nervous as usual.  But, not distressed.  Remus's gut feeling was that this wasn't anything malicious.  As usual, he didn't show any alarm on his face.

Nodding to the queen, "It shall be, as you say..."

There glee on her face ; she was quite happy her mother agreed to let her go. She very much wanted to go — even if she had gotten along with more or less her family, Vermillion had a desire to see elsewhere. Especially the more she interacted that was not part of Elkshire, she oh-so wanted to see what was beyond the forest. Maybe.. Find an identity that wasn't the sinful princess.

Luckily as well, it seemed Remus was going with her that added to her more pleasant attitude. She definitely didn't want to go alone or with someone she didn't know — so overall was surprised, how nice her mother was being.

"Depart when she sees fits." With no obvious rejecting, she gazed one final moment between the two as a tiredness washed over her. It could be said she was relatively washing her paws upon the matter with an uncareness, for in the end — an advantage was within her realm either way. A happy daughter, a pack within her sights, and the losing of Vermillion, who was weak.

And Celnes, who was too weak to deal with it all, especially as her favorites seem to be missing. She slunk back into the den, a paw off to them to wave them away, a dismissal.
