To the ocean her body found itself, swimming alongside the relatively peaceful waves. It was quite an easy feat to swim, as she looked back to see if the other can handle so. Living by the beach itself, and calling an isle it's home ; anyone who didn't swim, didn't belong to Dragonford unfortunately. Though desperate for bodies, she couldn't give up the core features just to ask for more and more bodies — and even herself, felt sickly referring to members as bodies that they so needed. The allyship of the other pack was within the air and works, and to use them as a guard of so, an asking of advice to borrow some.. Was still within a working way.

Vendrussel felt she'd trade it all for loyal members, one with an enthusiasm like Serenity held. Not that she knew much of the girl, but the dragoness enjoyed the nature she had ; bold and wanting, yet desiring the same as herself. She liked her, she really did so and hoped that the ancients, would so guide her path throughout this. Her paws waddling through the ocean as they swam away from even certain rocks and so ; until within the distant, the island with the torii gate stood.

To the shore she found herself, and shaken off the water, while turning to see if @Serenity had followed, and at the very least, didn't drown.

The woman would happily follow, eyes darting around as she looked around at the new area they moved through. Part of her was surprised as they started swimming, though she didn't seem to mind it. If anything, she enjoyed the water and loved to swim. If this was going to be her new home, she might as well enjoy it. So, she began to swim not far behind the woman, doing so rather effortlessly as she watched in awe as they grew closer to the mountains that seemed to jut out of the ground. It was not only terrifying but also beautiful.

It didn't take her long to reach the shore after the other woman, though she was a tad out of breath when she got there. She hadn't swam that much in a while but it sure felt good. Shaking her body, the small pellets of water went flying, though she found herself chuckling softly. "That was a fun swim, is that something you must to every time?" She wanted to know more about her possible new home and was clearly excited as her tail swished behind her and her eyes were wide with curiosity.

"To get to the island where we live, usually. Though there is also a pathway of stones that show up." Sometimes she will say it was a bit difficult to to bring prey over, depending on the size. Anything that tended to be a boar or more was a hassle and generally didn't bring them beyond the water wall — a cache hidden away within the brim for Dragonford's liking, and she wondered the day they'd find it stolen. At the very least, it only held up the largest of meals.

As she explained so with a smile, her tail gently swayed behind with a friendliness — leading Serenity up to the torii gate. It stood tall amongst it all, where a rope tied diligently against it and to the other rock. A rope was swaying between, untouched by the waves itself and remained godly above all else. The isle they use for testing grounds, as a gate would stand trial for the dive that they would take.

"All you have to do, is dive." She indicated with her paw to the calm waters below — though it was not a height to easily toss away.

The woman followed closely behind, taking in everything as she walked. This place did seem pretty dangerous but at the same time, was more than a little interesting. Serenity was never one to care much about safety when doing something as interesting as this. If she was gonna die doing something cool, then so be it. "That certainly sounds exhausting sometimes, though I do have questions about these stones that 'show up'." But that was a question for later, even she knew that.

As she got to where the woman was heading, she raised a curious eyebrow for a moment, head cocking to the side. She wanted her to jump off? Moving towards the edge, the woman would look down, gauging the distance with narrowed eyes. It wouldn't kill her, but it certainly would hurt like a bitch. Well, she did say that as long as she didn't die she would be fine with it. "Very well." With a shrug, she would back up slightly before rushing forward, not wanting to risk hitting anywhere that wasn't the water.

If not stopped before jumping off, the woman would quickly hop off the edge, twisting her body as to not land on her stomach or side in an attempt to keep her vitals protected from the hit of the water.

"Trust is believing if you jump, you'll be safe. Believing that I, will come and help you. That you have a bravery, fit for the dragons themselves." A long standing tradition that Vendrussel lived by — though the further it went, the darker it was. Her homeland was a cruel place, one fit for warriors and yet those of a lower-standing and more delicate sense, would find themselves in a trouble. There would be others, who simply wouldn't survive such an ordeal and left for the pits themselves ; for Rembeodes would not let them be. There to be taken to the depths of the ocean, where no one knew if the grim reaper, Mayadias, can find them.

Even the young would be subjected to this — and oh, she plans on an eventual date to do such dives. But her eyes drifted to the smaller one, and without a death to see fit. She didn't want that.. To cling to a culture itself — but Vendrussel was chosen by The Ancients. A sign from the heavens oh-so long ago, with a wolf among the stars that ran within the wind, and a dream.. Telling her to take to the west, and find the shores that roared like a dragon itself. She was chosen, to reform the way she so saw fit, and in that way, Dragonford would not be montorious in the way of death all around. She wanted hunters, healers, and philosophers, to be at peace within each other.

She was pleased many would do so, including Serenity. Something that held close in a proof of trusting among another, as she watched the brown girl into the depths of so ; and Vendrussel, taking her stride down to the edge of the waters below to wait for her resurface. Questions that was left and she always willing to answer, while formulating a name that the other deserved.

The Earthheart Dragon was born.

She remembered @Monarch who was the Earth Dragon, and one day simply.. Disappeared. A woman who burrowed out of the earth itself was long gone without a word, and she, only let it be. For surely, she had her reasons.

The impact with the water took her breath away, causing her breath to be taken away from her, however, she was waiting for it and was able to keep her breath held. She was a rather strong swimmer and was able to quickly resurface, panting slightly as her body was slightly sore from the landing, however not nearly as much as she had expected. It didn't take her long to swim to the shore, seeing the leader waiting for her there. Pulling herself out of the water, she shook herself off, stretching out her body before turning to look at the woman. "Was that alright?" She asked simply, hoping that she had done that correctly. This tradition was new to her, but she wasn't one to turn her head away from new things, always willing to listen and learn.

And now, she would happily do so. "I'd love to learn more about what the pack believes in, I never really had anything to believe in and listen to before this and would like to learn about it if that's alright." She cocked her head to the side slightly waiting to see what the woman would say. She kept herself ready to walk anywhere the woman wanted to go, unsure of what the next steps were.

"You will be named as the Eartheart dragon, only but small nickname give as a 'rebirth' from the waves." The nicknames itself held no meaning, more of a fun picking to Vendrussel as she held so desire they would partake in the culture itself. The spirit of The Ancients, and the desire to bring out that draconic blood she so believed, many held within. Long ago it was said they came to mortal lands after being rejected from the world itself, and descended to the wolves and partook their form itself. Generations there after and lending their knowledge and even blood.. Who is to say part of their lineage, and who is not?

Dubbed herself as the northern one, and now she does the same to Serenity.

"Much of it comes from my homelands belief — our culture dwelved deep into draconic thoughts. Where we wish to harness their strength and so. Part of it is companionship," she approached closer, and if allowed, she would politely groom the other in an enrichment of bonding itself. As she would share the knowledge she wished for the pack to partake.

"Bonds is important here. The Path of the Dragon, and how one would raise in the ranks — to find a partner, bonded for life romantic or not, to cover your own weaknesses. My ancestors say, that doing so will guarantee reincarnation, and face death without a fear."

The woman listened closely, nodding slightly as she did so. Though she wasn't born with these beliefs, she found that learning the beliefs of those around her made it easier to be apart of their group. She had no intention of leaving any time soon, so it was probably best that she learned to love what they did. Hearing her nickname made her smile, "Is everyone given a nickname?" She didn't believe she was special, but was merely curious to see if this was another belief of theirs. Not that she minded at all, if anything, she found it sweet.

At first she was a little unsure of the grooming, never really having anyone that was this nice to her, but quickly relaxed as she realized what the woman was doing. So, she let the groom happen while she listened to the words, moving to do her own grooming of the woman's shoulder if she let it. For some reason, grooming and mothering others just made her feel comfortable, which it seemed to her the other woman might have felt the same.

After a few moments, she would lay herself down, letting the woman keep grooming if she liked, leaning into her slightly. It was clear she trusted the woman, though they had only met not that long ago. "If you don't mind me asking, have you found a relationship through these bonds outside of the pack itself?" She was mostly curious if the woman had a lover and though it wasn't really any of her business, the curiosity made her smile.

Vendrussel nodded, "Anyone who has taken the dive is given one. You can ask around." She believed so for all gained one except for Altair, as his dive was within the admissions of working out. He was acting somewhat of a peace-keeper toward an alliance with Kei, though like Serenity, she would have to push him one of these days. But the very least he had more free-reign compared to the others.

Her tongue glided onto the other, tasting the salt-water that brimmed her pelt. But it was the taste of braveness, at the very least. Someone who managed to glide off the very peak and into the waters below, where the Ancients had guided her. Vendrussel prayed to them internally, a thankful nod that none seemed to just yet fall into the watery grave. Not even a saving.. Though one did pass out some time ago, but the figure still held such a courage that he now remained within Dragonford.

Gradually others were guided too, to the isle of the dragons.

"I haven't," she admitted, not too offended or caring toward the matter. It was no secret after all, that her pair was not there for the moment, "but I strive on forming friendships beyond the pack, and in the pack."

Even after only just meeting this woman and having jumped off a cliff to join her pack, Serenity felt comfortable about her, content where she sat. She could feel the woman's tongue lap over her fur and she laid herself down, letting her body lean back into the other woman, showing how comfortable she was.

For a moment, she stayed quiet, cocking her head to the side. So she hadn't found anyone, but she also didn't seem too interested in searching either. Typically, Serenity was a big flirt, having something to say to any and everyone. But, she actually liked being around this woman and didn't want to scare her off for her own amusement.

So, she chuckled softly and shrugged. "Well if it makes you feel any better, I haven't either. So you aren't alone in that regard."

As far as she knew, the entire pack hadn't found their 'partner' in arms. She thought at times to perhaps erase such a way, but.. It felt wrong, to erase such a core part of history. Gradually coming to an understanding, how so different this land was compared to what she knew — and Vendrussel took some time coming to terms with it. It was perhaps lonely, to be surrounded by those who didn't have the same values, and only to the blessing of Kei, understood the more harsh life the dragoness led from her clan. She held a bit tame within that sense, and accepting.. That it's different.

"Come, let us go to the isle. Maybe you can find that partner there," she so smiled, pointing her paw to the haven within the midst of the sepulcher. Hidden away, from all the serpent spires.

The woman stretched slightly, letting her body relax as she finally stood, content and happy. Shaking out her pelt the earthen girl would smile and nod, though found herself chuckling slightly. "Though I doubt about the partner, I'm happy to go see my new home." She would stretch out her back once more before nodding her head forward, letting the other woman head first. She would follow behind closely though, content and happy that she now had a home to call her own.
