Following this thread:   https://canismajor-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=4095.

For some background, lets assume this is a small rocky island full of ice close to the last event.      Lets let Perl and Boomba and Olive play out for awhile.   Once the 'Heros'  Muster 7 characters we can kill Boomba off, we can either kill him off here, or if getting help from across the land takes some time we can open a new thread. (I cant wait, Hahah)  Though feel free to have any character pop in to scout the situation, taunt ect...

No particular turn order

@Pearl @Olive

Zooming gracefully under the surface of the waves,  Boomba held his prize.  Her pretty body clasped in his hold likely helpless with the oncoming pressure of the frigid water. Boomba cares not for her comfort.

Thousands of pounds of momentum, and the great Boomba launched himself onto the rocky shoreline, landing with an earth shaking thud. In the same motion Boomba tossed the soaked wolf to the icy, excrement covered shoreline below.  "Hehehe!"

Towering over the woman, "Pretty wolf is Boomba's prize! To run away would be unwise" , He chortled victoriously, neck fat giggling, his putrid maw ejecting spit and seas sludge.

After a moment of taunt toward the wolves she was unhurriedly following Boomba. He kept a prize, a pretty wolf that had not yet grasped her final breath. Pearl tilted her head and looked to the other walrus females in the lightest confusion, and curiosity. She bundled closer, flopping toward and asked, "eat?"

She wanted another necklace.

Jiggling in unison towards them, Boomba's Harem was curious to see of the new pretty thing brought to the shores.  The matriarch suggested eat.

"No! pretty wolf is not to eat, if you do, your corpse ill beat!"

It would be better to add this woman to his collection of ladies instead. Boomba's angry gaze turned towards Pearl, he seemingly had something in mind for her.

Upon the intimidation did she back up, and some of the other ladies as well, despite a distance between. She could hear the gossip behind upon what purpose was there to keep wolf if not for food? But she didn't like the scowl upon his face as he looked at her, and instead of a wretched woman desiring necklaces and jewelry, Pearl became docile.

Olive had lost consciousness a while back, somewhere between her initial descent and when she was thrown abruptly onto the land. If she had been awake, perhaps she might have been afraid. Perhaps she might have felt her body as it thudded onto the solid ice, and then lay tensed and anxious as she listened to the bellowing of the many, many sea monsters as they jostled and harassed each other. Perhaps the fear itself might have been enough to kill her.

Instead, perhaps thankfully, Olive didn't perceive any of the horrors that surrounded her. She saw naught and she heard naught; but such bliss could not last forever. Her vision began to clear, and her body twitched autonomically, beginning to expel water from her lungs in a way that was uncontrollable by the little wolf. Barely conscious, she regurgitated sea water and sputtered back to life, beginning to become keenly aware of an intense burning in her skull, her neck, and down her spine. Every where else, all she recognized was an intense, bone-wracking cold.

The sodden, shivering, seemingly-blind and barely-breathing thing clawed herself forward, crawling towards an unknown goal, looking very much like an infant.

Eyes narrowing, Boomba side eyed his prize as it crawled aimlessly. Retuning his attention to Pearl. "Boomba has a task for Pearl! Teach pretty wolf to be Boomba's girl!"

Then turning to the rest of the harem, shouting another order in a jiggling rage, "Skinny wolf doesn't have enough meat, bring her some fish to eat!" . The harem immediately, began to scramble in response, fear driving them to obey Boomba.

"I take girl?" The plan to add such a wolf to the harem of girls wasn't met with any resistance but eternal wonder.. Pretty pelt, perhaps, but ugly in the terms of the beauty that was a walrus. She could see the other squirming away, heavily breathing and trying to escape, "I take girl," though voice of question at first and then of resolute, as Pearl moved forward to slap a flipper upon Olive — not to hurt, but stop her from continuing to move.

"Wolf stay, wolf be fed, wolf then get makeover, then mate Boomba." She humphed in a rather newfound excitement, for the ugliness that a wolf could have ; Pearl could work with it. A few mud charms and seashells could Pearl beautify her!

But for now the other harem would come over to drop a rather decent pile of fish, which Pearl would push into Olive's face, still keeping one flipper on her lower back.

Ragnar is just observing atm.

Ragnar had heard the warning call of his Regent as she sang out to Frostchant. A woman had been attacked... by a walrus?? Ragnar figured she had been moving to closely to their territory and once Sindri returned to him he had been given the details. Olive it so sounded like upon description. Ragnar, wondrous of the woman's fate and equally willing to do some said justice against the walrus, moved to the coastline with a sharp icy eyes and a swift beat of his footing.

The most Ragnar had explored along the coastline to the north was the stretch between Northfall and Banesteppe. There was still much he didn't know, sticking mostly to the coast directly along his borders. The long scar of cracked frozen ground which swelled with ocean water was also not fully explored and so Ragnar began his search with Sindri's direction in mind.

Soon he would find the horde along an icy island not far from the coast and among the loud honking walrus Ragnar thought it might have seen the little body of Olive, water logged and nothing more then a soaked mass of pale fur on pale glacier. Ragnar stood and watched for a time, uncertain if she were even dead or alive... but there seemed to be movement and... were the walrus trying to feed her??

Oh, she tried to crawl, but she didn't make it far. She was exhausted in every sense of the word, and it seemed this experienced hadn't yet reached its crescendo. No longer violently vomiting sea water, Olive blinked and realized she could see, though her vision was grey and fuzzy at the edges. She collapsed on her side and closed her eyes against the pounding within her skull, entirely a heaving, panting, struggling mess — and that was before the matriarch decided to gift her with a walrus's version of a warm welcome.

Something relatively genial and heavy placed itself atop her aching body and she wondered, momentarily, if now she had finally died — but blinking open her eyes, the banshee realized with terror that that atrocious sea monster had succeeded in the most diabolical of its plan; and now it was looking down at her with the sickest of grins, speaking yet slurring its words in a way that was incomprehensible. She had no way of knowing which Walrus was which — she was only vaguely aware of the differences in voice and size — at the moment they all looked and felt quite the same. That, and there were so, so, so many of them, all jostling, making noises, scrambling to obey orders.

The feeble woman felt something be pressed against her face though she could not urge herself to react or respond to it, or even to investigate further. She allowed herself to be jostled and the fish unceremonious smashed against her face and mouth, nothing more than a groan eeking out from between gritted jaws, twitching her head away only when such cajoling became excruciatingly uncomfortable. The only thing that could urge the hopeless sprite to action was mention of the plans they had in store for her.

"No," came her first word, barely registering above the din of the harem. "No..." Olive peeled her eyes open once more, suddenly willing to ignore the searing of her head to capitulate one more fight against reality. With a sudden burst of fitful movement, the pale wolf pulled her legs close it and wrested herself from the matriarch's flipper, sprinting sloppily to the very edge of the small, rocky island the colony clamored upon. She thought about howling; about sending a cry high to the sky that would carry her woe far and wide, but she didn't know how long she had, and she doubted her wretched throat could handle such a task.

Espying a form dancing upon the shoreline, the woman cried out as best she could. "Tiberius!!!" she belted, sputtering into a cough, and continuing anyways. "Riannon—" she choked out, the spirit gone from her voice. "B—Benry..." Now her head hung, and she mourned for herself. "Oh gods, please," the fragile woman cried to herself. "Don't leave me..."

"She not eat," there was a frustrated exhaling coming from Pearl as the other seemed reluctant to eat the fish. The harem woman had worked hard to get this — and she let it go to waste! She will see when she fish alone and Boomba upset she retrieved nothing due to her land-dwelling legs, "she eat later," Pearl said, finding it just so wasteful.. But if the other would not, she'd try again later.

As Pearl wanted to do a make over.

"Pearl make her pretty for Boomba," she said, a hearty laughter while shouting words toward the other females. They seemed to be energetic about it, they didn't hold that same fear that they did to Boomba to herself, as she was the 'female leader' of the harem, and direct first when the male was not around, to order. The love of gossip and dress-up was one of their favorite topics, and when asked they already knew what to retrieve.

Firstly ; sludge from the bottom of the ocean, secondly, seaweed or any other water-plant, and thirdy, sea-shells and crabs.

Unlike the rest of the harem, Olive was light. To blend in and become one of them, Pearl was using her non-used flipper to start mowing the sludge all over her back. It wasn't done well, sloppily slapped onto her and rubbed from the nose to the back — not even lifting a flipper to cover the rest. She was smearing it on, an attempt of brown like the rest of them but rather.. She started to turn to an ugly gray that had Pearl, and other harem members twist their head in confusion.

"She ugly?" Pearl said to them as they nodded.

"Pearl fix."

Like a moment a Maid turning to a Princess.. Yet it was the opposite as Pearl would, with no hands or paws to actually do well with — just sprinkles the seaweed on, as well as some rather heavy shells that were retrieved. Though there was some live crabs, now twisting within her fur.

"Boomba approve?"

Boomba Half checked in every once and awhile on what the two where doing, but mostly just lounging with the other ladies. Curiosity made him pay the occasional glance.

When the new member of his harem was finnaly presented before him, Boomba eyed her from head to toe smiling his typical putrid grin. "Boomba likes where she is at! Though she needs more body fat!"

Then he turned his attention back to the other jealous ladies. Pearl would not disobey Boomba.

The Frozen Grounds were vast, she ran through the lands in a wonder, nose to the air and ears swirling to any sound she could capture. It was harder to trail when the path was underwater, a place where no land-dwelling animal could try last long on. Even if she did dive to try and take a gander, the cold would sink her down faster then she could think about saving Olive. Her fur was lightly frosted, from the previous diving and without proper eat to warm herself — she was like a frosted donut.

Finally, could she hear the sounds of walrus's, loud and proud that they were, it wasn't hard to truly find them ; just takes time. Spending time running through the grounds, and finally near the edge to where they all barricaded to. Continued to the west was a well due effort, as the woman prowled to the ground, hiding within a snow mound to cover herself. She wasn't particularly knowledgeable when it came to Walrus's, the few information bits that Uriel did know helped bring a confidence Olive was alive.. But whether they could detect her or not, was another issue.

Hiding and peaking, could she see the harem, and Boomba, happily enjoying himself. Though the question would be, where was Olive?

.. There was something underneath one of the Walrus's, covered in mud and grim, seaweed and an assortment of shells. Though it moved, and for a second Uriel doubted the truth. For surely, that was Olive.

Though she was safe, albeit in.. Not the most promising situation, it could've worse, and it did bring a question to what they were doing with her. However, Uriel found the location. She would not be able to help on this matter alone, and started to retreat back to the tundra waters where the rest may be at.

Ragnar couldn't say he had ever seen such a thing before, even with the various encounters he had with walrus. Walrus seemed like pretty dumb animals, in his eyes quite frankly. They didn't have the sharp eye of the bird, the wit and swiftness of the rabbit or the regal movements and stance of the caribou. They were all honks and blubber. Honks and blubber which for one reason or another favored one of their own- a wolf and one Ragnar enjoyed the pleasure of well enough.

His attention was pulled by the quickest flash of frosted golden furs. An observer- a spy. His icy eyes watched her retreat and Ragnar knowing too that he wouldn't get far diving into the horde all his own, turned and followed after Uriel's trail.

With horror, Olive was eventually dragged from her pitiful position, crying and yelling for her friends, for the gods — for anyone who might listen and experience a passing sense of sadness at her plight. She was not dragged gracefully either, if there were such a thing — she was dragged kicking and screaming, with claws grabbing at the ice, loudly yowling and regretting every moment she had spent yelling for friends, and not pitching herself into the deep dark sea.

Boomba's ladies seemed to have a plan for her, and they were semi-organized about it too, having brought forth piles of undersea creatures that looked as alien as the walruses did, and procuring something else that was dark and unknown. The woman continued to fight, no longer feeling the pain in her body as much as she felt white-hot anger towards this other walrus, a woman, who was so overtly complicit in her king's desire to torture her. They were both of the sacred goddess — how could a fellow woman betray her in such a visceral, unforgivable way?

As much as she fought, there was no hope. She could not struggle against her strength, and every her most brutal of chomps rendered almost no reaction from her aggressor. Like a mere puppet, the wolf was painted brown with the sludge from the sea and decorated with an assortment of revolting bugs-like creatures. "Ugh! Stop, please!" Her skin crawled as she felt their legs poke and prick through her encrusted fur, as if she were a veritable buffet table. No longer being jostled by the fins of her beautician, she was presented to the harem and the king himself — somehow, amongst the debris, Olive noticed she was bleeding."My leg..." she whispered mournfully, reaching down to instinctively lick at at the spot where she had been bitten and dragged through the water.

Pitifully, she attempted to give herself the compassion she so deeply craved, channeling all her focus into this until she was deemed 'too skinny' and needed fattening. "N—No, I — I don't want anymore fish," she beseeched with a shivering grimace, swinging her visage from Pearl, to Boomba, and to Pearl again, wondering if either had an ounce of mercy that she might somehow uncover.

Some kind of happy noises came from Pearl, but no one truly knew. She was expecting either like or immediate dislike and was rather pleased her work was praised — but it wasn't enough. The other was far too skinny unlike the pride of the rest of the walrus's rolls, plump and beauties, true mermaids of the ocean. She couldn't help but simply bring her beauty even more with feasible decorations like pelts.. Which, she didn't get in this situation. Maybe if she worked hard enough, Boomba would give her one.

"Why does wolf not eat?" Pearl questioned, as her shoving of fish continued in vain and the other spoke in a protest. She squirmed and wailed, and maybe a bit bruised.. But she would be fine, Pearl was confident she would not die. They just have to fatten her up.

"Boomba be mad if wolf do not."

The walrus woman didn't listen, instead questioned why she wouldn't eat and then warned her that her superior would not take kindly to such a thing. Olive narrowed her eyes, vacillating quickly between the extremes of beggary and hatred, unsure which path might procure a more desirable outcome. Unfortunately, Olive didn't believe whole heartedly that either would end with her true desire: freedom.

In the case, hatred would do just fine! "I couldn't care less, you cow!" the ashen woman cried as she lept up, fur bristling beneath the caked-on mud. Immediately she inwardly cursed her unsteady footing, which was once again made slick by the presence of sludge on her paws and the ache of overuse in her muscles. "I hope he gets mad," the firebrand seethed, teeth bared quite unintentionally, looking directly at Pearl in her black, beady, soulless gaze — before swinging her attention to the King and leaping desperately in his direction, yelling something akin to

"I'll die before I become your sea bitch!"

Breaking free the tiny wolf adorned in the best the sea had to offer was now charging at Boomba. Who would dare charge at Boomba. At first all the ladies where honking and screeching at the commotion, then all what's silent when Olive released those words. This caught Boombas attention.

From his relaxed posture, the great Boomba raised himself up to tower over the woman, blotting out the sun, making no move to counter her advance.

"He-He-He!", Boomba chuckles deeply.

"Little wolf thinks she has a choice, stuff her with fish 'till she has no voice."

"Boomba wants to have his prize, but still wants her have more size."

The other slipping from her flipper was a surprise, as Pearl looked confused as she looked up, and down. Wolf that brave? No, not brave, but foolish. Nonchalantly did Pearl moved forward, a heaving in a sigh as they looked at Boomba with a humble nod, a mark of an apology that indeed she escaped.. And she tried to put a flipper back onto the other, to keep them downwards.

"Wolf fool, wolf do not know Boomba might!" Pearl said, "other wolves be made to coat! You lucky, you eat instead."

The walrus king finally responded to her torture and outcry, but not in any way she had hoped. Where she had hoped to prove not the be easy prey, he only saw a wily, challenging woman to be wrangled into submission. He took up the challenge heartily, lifting himself in a threatening manner, casting a large shadow across her.

The woman grit her teeth and shut her eyes against the horrid sight and stench of him, wondering if in the next moment, she would feel the entire weight of him smash down on top of her. But death still was reluctant to come; instead, he instructed her to continue with this forced feeding, to fatten her up for some unforeseen atrocity. The voice of the Queen brought her back, the mud-covered wolfess spun in her spot to face her, suddenly finding it in herself to hear the actual words she spoke.

Perhaps, in a way, she was lucky — death and horrendous injury had evaded her so far, and left her spitting and fighting for her own rescue. Her story could have been over long ago, when the wretched sea monster had first burst from the ice. She could have been made into a pelt; but she wasn't. For some reason, the walruses had kept her; and were now caring for her, in whatever fatuous way they could. They dressed her up, and fed her. They hadn't killed her.

"I—" she stammered, before her mouth clipped closed, she hung her head, and inched lamely towards the pile of writhing fish.

Boomba's cruel eyes tracked her as she inched back to the fish. Good, nobody disobeys Boomba, in fact, this was one of Boomba's rules.

"Good, Boomba didn't think you would keep talk back. If wolf did, then they would get a smack."

He remained 'standing' watching Olive intently. It looked as if he was waiting to see if she would actually eat the gormet meal laid before her. She better be grateful.

"If wolf behave, she will get pretty coat, instead of becoming coat." That was perhaps the only treasure that was given in times. With leftover meals or random trinkets they would find, the harem had a love for turning stuff to jewelry and fashion. A bliss! And she given some of the best to her already! Covered in the slick mud of the sea that felt great on the skin and the crabs that snapped away those pests between their rolls..

Surely a haven.

"Pearl will make you beautiful," she coo'd with a laughter, dragging her back to the other harem members.

Olive felt every inch of his heavy gaze, surrounding her with his awareness. She leant down to sniff and nose at the array of fish that had been displayed before her; if Olive had an ounce of fish-loving sense in her, she might have appreciated the gesture — but Olive's mind could not stop thinking of why they wanted to fatten her, and mourned for her lack of autonomy in this situation. However, if there was any chance she might be able to sleep upon a pelt tonight, rather than the sheer & frigid ice, she would take it. She would even manage a half-hearted "Thank you..." as she was whisked away by the harem; assuming her new role as their mournful, sorrowful, doll-like plaything.
