As there was nothing she could do.. Vendrussel was stranded at the isle. War was happening upon the borders as fights came to be and warriors emerging from her ranks, and beserkers from the mountainous pack. When she thought of it her teeth gritted, and could only fall into a chilling atmosphere while sinking into her dens darkness. There was so much to think — to do, but none that the dragoness at the time being could do herself.. And only wait, and hear for the news.

For the time being she would hope something good would come out of it, and prayed to the ancients to look out for her fellow dragons in this time of strife. Not to mention Vendrussel could only rely on them to feed her, as the caches would remain with fish and other animals they brought from the brim. She could limp around the isle all that she could, but no hunting could be done.

The best she could do was.. Wait, and catch. By the beach did she lay for sitting hurt far too much for her leg. She had to carefully lay it out and keep a stick by it, even as it was and keep.. It not crooked. She knew Kei wouldn't want her moving, but staying in the den all day would drive anyone crazy. She could at least try and fish.

Throwing seeds into the water.. Watching the ripples go.. Occasionally would Vendrussel, at a strike of time, slap the water with her paw, and a fish may come forth! But she wasn't fast enough to nip from the air as it landed back to the waters. It was repeated structure of trying to lure these fish near her, where she could grab without much trying.. Whenever she inched forward, a hiss of pain would come from her broken leg being moved too much.

try, and try again, Vendrussel convinced herself.

Screaming.

That's what she did and it's what she did loudly as she found herself suddenly doused in water, though it shallow it was something that the young cub had rarely found herself in and she flailed in the shallow depths. She splashed water everywhere as she coughed and spluttered, feeling herself having swallowed some of the salty liquid and it made her even more upset. It tasted awful! The tiger cub flailed unhappily, having found her footing on the sand but still did she not realise she could walk to safety.

Instead she spluttered, her tail slapping the water as if trying to catch a grip somewhere, anywhere. Her nose crinkled with distaste as she salty water left a horrible feeling in her mouth, her young features crinkling in her fury. It was with the domination of the taste in her mouth that she had stopped flailing, a slow, low hiss coming from her mouth as she lifted a soaking paw to scrub at her tongue as she looked to get the taste out of her mouth.

Little did she realise, her paw was covered in salty water. The girl squealed unhappily as she gagged, slapping her paw back down in the water as her features scrunched up as she fought the urge to heave.

Holy fuck.

When did that appear?

Startled, Vendrussel visibly craned her neck to the noise in a shock and nearly jolted upwards, but the pain from her leg resulted to continue to the ground as an ocean eye peered to where the noise as. She was fishing and all that was lured over was now away by the splashing, and her seeds were now useless. She would've been more mad at the factor, painstakingly trying to gather them in her state, and especially with winter around.. Yet was far too curious on who else, now appeared on her shores.

Usually wolves tended to come and go, and never really caused an issue. Only now with a leg injured — she couldn't put a true air of dominance, just an attempt of intimidation and a proudness from the dragon as proclaiming to be the isle's Alpha.. But would that really be needed at this moment?

"You're.. You're a tiger, aren't you." Vendrussel squinted as the other was of no wolf she knew, but of fluff and rounded ears with the pointiest of fangs — definitely no pup she knew held those stripes. It greatly reminded her of the tigers of the north, and yet.. They weren't the familiar orange she knew — but held more of a beauty with faint grays and whites like clouds and ashes. Angelic, to say the least, but she knew that they were true devils of the tundra.

In all of her gagging, the girl hadn't noticed the wolf. She jumped, hissing in surprise as the wet fur of her back attempted to stand up and the rugged, thicker fur of her spine and head lay flat, sodden and not at all imposing. Her ghostly gaze landed upon the wolf, her head tilting to the side as her nose crinkled still as the salt water lingered in her mouth. "Hmph," the cub grumbled as she waddled out of the water with a look of displeasure marring her young features. Tiger?

She grinned then, toothy and gave a wiggle of her bum,
"tiger!" Elune agreed merrily, slapping her paws on the sand. "I tiger," she agreed, remembering that was what she was but she knew little else of herself -- aside from all her names, of course. "You's wolf, go bark bark!" she encouraged with a look of excitement. ^^

Vendrussel knew of tigers but not their growth rate. Rarely would anyone even see a cub from her original land, and if a rare occurrence came.. As always met by hostility from the parent. They were rather large for being a cub, and by the language they spoke they were very young. Childish, as she demanded her to go barking like that of someone who drunk too much sea-water, or the delightful taste of rum and lapped too much. A bemused expression crossed to her face, as the Alpha Dragoness smiled so gently, and said, "Bark."

Though all amusement may be.. "Where are your parents?"

She cooed delightfully as the wolf obeyed and barked, the cats ears twitching as she slapped a paw against the sand to show just how happy it had made her. "Bark!" Elune repeated with a toothy grin, her pale features lit up with her enjoyment. Olympia's features twisted into uncertainty as the wolf asked her the whereabouts of her parents and inelegantly, the girl shrugged her shoulders. She wasn't entirely sure what parents were, in all honesty, not remembering much of her vague three months aside from a few little tidbits here and there. "Parents?" her nose wriggled and with it her whiskers twitched, curiosity settling upon her young features.

The girl bounced forward, closer to the injured wolf with a tilted head and a flick of her tail, curling at the end as she approached, "what's parents?" She blinked up at the wolf, waiting with doe-like eyes for the answer.

She observed, watching cautiously to this tigress cub who laid to the beaches. She splashed and played, the small curls she held dampening and shrinking to her sides. A starking contrast to the dark rocks that held to the waters, for she was like the snow against the mountains, dainty and pretty — yet monstrous when not prepared. It felt like someone was playing with Vendrussel, for who would leave their child to this land? She could not imagine  they just appeared like she had in the desert, and yet..

"Parents are the ones you brought you to this world — gave you life. They are your.." Would the child know the word 'guardian?' Or even 'caretaker?' It was difficult to accurately mention, "someone who protects you." Though not all parents were well-versed in so, and she knew that quite well. Yet the other didn't look like someone who experienced such troubles, and maybe overall.. Was just an abandoned cub.

Troublesome for herself though, who was not a parent, and especially not a tiger. The other could utterly destroy her, and Vendrussel struggled with that thought as her leg pained so slightly.

Olympia seemed curious but dismissive of these parents but her curved ears still swerved forward to listen as the pretty wolf spoke. Parents gave her life, she said, trailing off for a few moments before she clarified further. Parents would protect her, too and Olympia's brows furrowed together as she flicked her tail tip in and an out. "No parents," the cub supplied, unhelpfully, unable to recall correct details of her main life before finding herself in the water. She knew things, small things that didn't at all concern her family but she at least knew what a wolf was. She stepped forward, curiously and full of intrigue as she peered up to the wolf in question.

"Pretty," Elune decided as she grinned, toothy and youthful as she appraised the wolf with her pale gaze. The cub easily moved past the topic of her parents, not knowing anything else to give the wolf about it and easily, her attention was snagged. "Wolf is pretty," she clarified as she sniffed, leaning forward to see if the wolf would let her press her nose into a lean leg.

She could find the parents, but not in her position. Not with a disabled leg like herself that yet to be healed, and most likely.. Not for some time. Though medics that helped and Kei as well, who was now on an mission.. And neither could Vendrussel send any the dragons off, not when war was looming to the path. They could not afford to idle away resources to another, especially not even their own kin— as unfortunate she felt for the situation, that the little one knew not of her own kin. Her tail flickered in thought, for though she could not send anyone to try and find ; perhaps the best that could be was time for the meanwhile.

"Child, what is your name? You are quite pretty, surely someone has given you one." The Alpha adjusted ever so slightly so that her injured leg would be away from view and any play, but did not move away enough that the other could not touch her. She didn't expect a small tigress to cause too harm, she was a dainty one, though even a cub of a monster could still be dangerous.. If she played her cards right, just maybe — an alliance between tigers and wolves could come to be. Where if so, could request an assistance to those foul Northfall wolves.

Such a mind with twisted ways that brought a ping of guilt, to use such a small, heavenly being. Yet what else could Vendrussel do to save those of the ford? At the very least though, she thought to take care of the other for the meanwhile. Perhaps @Jósteinn would at least enjoy a friend.

"How would you feel about living here, at this island, for some time?" Vendrussel said with a soft smile.

Her name was perhaps one of the few things that she knew to be true, an element of her old life. As young as it was. Pretty, she said, she was pretty so someone had to have given her a name. If she had been ugly, would she be without one? Her rounded ears twitched as she tilted her chin up, smiling up at the wolf who called her pretty, "Olympia-Elune Aurelia," she revealed with a curl of her tail tip. "Pretty wolf can pick one," Oly chirped as she was given the chance to press her nose against a leg, going a little bit further as to rub her cheek against the wolf.

"Pretty wolf has name?" Oly inquired as she pulled her head back, young features curious. She liked this one, she decided, almost possessively as she sniffed again and reintroduced herself to the new scent. It was only when the wolf spoke again did she draw her attention back to her and she blinked, her ghostly gaze twinkling at the question. Unaware of the innerworkings of the wolf's mind, Oly nodded eagerly as she slapped her paws against the sand, "yes!" she crowed, purring in delight. She liked this wolf and in typical nature of Oly, she latched on.

"Stay," Elune purred as she sidled up to the wolf and curled her tail around one of her legs, happy.

"You have a long name," Vendrussel commented. Though she couldn't remember where she was from ; her name was implemented. She realized she too was a bit similar, with her past memories being blurrs, but the few things she was reassured was true was her name, "I'll call you Olympia," as it was the first to be given. It was like her name rolled off the tongue, and be given to choose.. She chuckled lightly and wondered who else would be given the option, and the confusion to follow through, when people refer her by her different titles.

"I am Vendrussel, of the ford," a gaze around with an ocean look. Waves gently clashing through, and a paw given to the island before — an indication that this was the ford. The smell of wolves heavily clinging to the land and even a few birds..

"And this is Dragonford, you're new home."
