Psyche’s upbringing has done her very few favours. Raised to fill a very particular role (being married off for alliance and dowry) she struggles significantly with her self-image. She’s well versed in social graces, but otherwise lacks many of the skills a wolf her age should know - she has no idea how to hunt or track, for instance. These were skills she was forbidden from learning as they risked injury or maiming - thus risking lowering her perceived “value” to the family. She’s an introspective, melancholy creature and finds it difficult to express her wants and needs for fear of upsetting or angering those around her. She’s made some progress on this, but the shock and trauma of arriving in Canis has erased at least some of that. Impressionable, Psyche is easily influenced and manipulated, and will often cave to the requests of those around her in the hopes of gaining their approval. She recognises this as a negative and dangerous behaviour but isn’t currently sure how to unlearn or fight the tendancy.
Despite it all, Psyche is a kind, curious, warm-hearted soul who genuinely does want the best for those around her. That much isn’t learned, but rather inherent.
