Appearance

Eric is tall and lanky, coated with lean muscle. He's generally wearing a neutral expression, always with a hint of some kind of sadness. His fur is shaggy and soft, and he has a rather long tail.

Personality

Eric is a hot mess.

Self-loathing galore, anxiety, the occasional death wish - he's not doing well, and frankly, he hasn't done well in a while. He wants to be loved, he wants to love, he wants to belong somewhere, to someone - but does he deserve it? After what he's done?

He was once a man. A normal man. Then it got worse. And worse. And worse. Now he's a wolf? What kind of cruel joke is this?!

Wracked with guilt, Eric presses on. Maybe someday he'll be okay. For now, he just tries to hold everything together. But the seams are loose because he sucks at sewing.

History

In another life, Eric was a werewolf that didn't want his lot in life at all. He shifted for the first time while he visited his parents, and promptly killed them in his confusion and lack of control, fleeing into the wilderness once he'd come to his senses about what he'd done. He lived alone for years, trying his best to avoid people. The Wolf inside him didn't want to be alone, and took every opportunity it could to slowly drag him kicking and screaming towards...something it yearned for. Before Eric knew it, he met Alina, another of his own kind; and their tentative relationship...sort of blossomed. Once, she flung him through a window. At the same time, she often tended his wounds and gave him guidance. It was hard for him not to get attached. Impossible, really. Everyone in her group slowly became a family to him. He wasn't ready to heal yet, but he was growing more at peace.

Until he fell asleep and woke up here.
