Appearance

The thing that sticks out the most is her long snout that contains a sticky 12 inch long tongue. Her dark brown coat is thin, and her primary protection is tough skin that especially protects her from ant and termite bites. It also helps with predators. Naturally, there is no fur on her tail. She possesses large, strong, and sharp claws on her front and back paws. They are used for digging up ant and termite mounds, defense from other animals, and digging deep underground burrows. Her ears are long and rounded. She has an excellent keen sense of smell and hearing. Her eyes are pure black. She is a unique aardvark with a athletic and muscular build, perfect for digging and surviving in the world she lives in.

Personality

Bugs, bugs, bugs. All aardvarks love bugs and she is no different. Bugs are her favorite food, and it is all she eats. She feeds exclusively on ants and termites. She will use her claws to easily dig up ant hills and termite mounds, and use her long tongue to lick them up by twenties or thirties. She will also supplement her diet with beetle larvae. When it comes to bugs she is an expert, especially when it comes to different kinds of ants. She can easily withstand bites from ants and termites as she raids nests and feeds, not affected by it at all due to her tough skin.

She lives up to her given nickname as the underground architect, as all her kind should. She is not only able to make underground burrows, but extensive tunnels like a network that can lead to different places. She makes sure that this network of tunnels are in good working order, always improving and modifying them. It is in these tunnels where she lives. Though she also spends time above ground, she will most definitely retreat to her tunnels when bad weather, danger, or threats arise. Seeker will also hoard important valuable objects in her underground home. The good thing about her underground home, is that the only creatures able to enter must be her size or smaller, which helps prevent dangerous intruders from entering. She can dig very quickly. Underground is her realm, but she also enjoys time above ground too.

When Seeker sleeps underground, she blocks out the entrance to her burrow, leaving only a very small opening at the top to help stay protected from threats above ground. She then curls into a tight ball and sleeps.

With aardvarks having one of the best senses of smell in the animal kingdom, she can pick up smells from far away. She could also pick up a lot of information about a creature from their scent.

She is a strong and great swimmer, able to swim successfully in strong currents.

She loves to enjoy and experience nature as she travels. That said she loves to explore. Nature is magical and mystical.

Seeker is able to run at 26 miles an hour, but only does this when she wants to.

Seeker is kind until you give her a reason not to be. She tends to stay away from carnivores for obvious reasons. She sticks around animals who don't eat meat, such as herbivores.

She is very intelligent and a quick thinker.

History

Seeker was born underground with her mother and father. It was warm and cozy. She was the only one born in her litter. As a cub she enjoyed exploring underground tunnels her mother and father made. She also had all the termites and ants she could eat. Her life was fun and simple. Once she reached adulthood at two years of age she left her parents to live her own life. Her journey would be her own to make.
