Appearance
A Palomino Thoroughbred mare, Platinum is of an average height and weight for her species. She has a blaze marking on her head, which is a white stripe down her face. She also has stockings-white markings from her hoof to her knee. Her right front hoof is slightly more messy than the other hooves as she tends to paw at the ground with it.
Personality
Platinum is curious. Everything she sees, smells or hears, she will check out. This has landed her in a lot of trouble, including but not limited to: Accidentally eating poisonous berries, hurting herself on sharp stones, falling and nearly breaking her leg… A lot of such incidents have happened.
Platinum is reckless. Often, she disregards her own safety in order to satisfy her curiosity. See above for what had happened due to this.
Platinum is selfless. Others come before herself a majority of the time. Of course, she does need to put herself first sometimes. As long as it isn’t a necessity, though, others come first. She’s had instances of allowing others to drink the last bit of water and then nearly getting dehydrated herself.
Platinum hates responsibilities. She was a free spirit and longed to be able to do what her heart desired instead of what others expected her to do. Another part of this was that she could not simply just throw away any obligation placed on her-her morals force her to do it. That was why she despised responsibilities, more than anything.
And finally, Platinum is naive. She’ll trust what anyone says and has no ability to identify lies. Of course, she doesn’t just follow what anyone says and will run it through her brain to see how much sense it makes. Not that nothing’s ever gotten under the radar. In fact, a majority of the time this radar isn’t much use.
History
Platinum remembers very little of where she comes from. She was born in a Tribe of horses. Not wanting to be restrained by their views, she left her Tribe to become a Wanderer. Her only memory is of swimming in clear water, then a hot sulfur spring, with an older mare by her side. She had no memory of who this mare was, however.
All she knows is that this is a new life with nothing to do with her old.
