"The raven sings her hopeful song. . ."
Feather is quiet and reserved most of the time. In her former life, she was an avid collector and historian, creating a museum of human things. She would readily walk up to anyone and explain her passion. But after a whole situation in which her passion led her into imprisonment and torture, Feather is far less willing to share with others. She tends to keep to herself, and she gives off a sort of "retired librarian" aura.
". . .in the place where things go wrong. . ."
Feather is a wolf of great devotion. She's passionate and motivated, and she's a quick learner. Her skills are all academic, for the most part, and her favorite pastime is discovery. Feather enjoys exploring, too, as long as it isn't awfully physically taxing. Although Feather may be an excellent scholar, she lacks in temper. Her responses to controversial situations are often inflamed and backed by passion, not logic, and sometimes Feather gets choked up on explanations. She also gets petrifying anxiety anytime she has to ask a favor of anyone - a trait that has become especially prominent since her imprisonment.
". . .and somewhere in the distance, Someday called to me. . ."
Feather is compassionate and loving, and her idea of love is to give oneself entirely to another. No matter if it's unrequited, Feather is a hopeless romantic. She has in the past easily succumbed to Stockholm's syndrome, and likely she will again. Naive and gullible, Feather doesn't seem to have learnt her lesson even despite her prior painful experience in captivity.
". . .and I looked to my left, where always you were there. But my eyes saw only snow, and my hands grasped only air."
