Appearance

Mostly covered in light gray fur, she has black markings. These black patches cover her snout, shoulders, and lower legs. Rhyanne has the signature Salvatoré light eyes, hers are icy blue. Her body is mostly average for a timber wolf, however from her constant trekking to find new herbs, she is slightly more athletic than the common wolf.

Personality

Rhyanne may be a Salvatoré by name, but she only shares some of the traits characteristic of the family line. Growing up she was caring and sweet, now she only retains some of that. Replacing it is a short-tempered wolf who judges everyone she meets. She still cares about her family and will do anything for them. But she is less than pleasant to those outside of her ring.

History

The Salvatoré line truly begins a generation before Rhyanne, with Nérah and Sven Salvatoré. They were cold and cruel, making their children fight for the throne. They wanted their family to achieve greatness and were willing to pay the cost to attain it. They were surprisingly family-oriented, even with power-hungriness and sadism. Rhyanne was weak in the face of her parents. She chose instead to hide behind her mother’s ferocity to survive. All of her interests were in helping the family rather than ruling it. Damitrii was the warrior, equally not interested in ruling. The one who was born to rule was Ketséah, excellent with words and enjoyed bending lesser to her will. She never targeted Rhyanne though, this was either because of their mother’s rage or familial bond, Rhyanne never knew which.

Rhyanne knew vaguely of Ketséah’s whereabouts after she left the family. She judged her for how she treated her children, equally members of the Salvatoré family. But Rhyanne was too weak-willed to do anything about it. It was only when Nerah disappeared, most likely dead, that Rhyanne was forced from her shell. She grew into a grouchy medicine woman, judging her clients just as much as she healed them. She accompanied Ketséah until she too disappeared. Alone, she threw herself into working, becoming more and more bad-tempered.

One day she was thrust into the world of Canis where she learned a Salvatoré led a pack. When she heard this a broad smile filled her face. She made a plan to teach this child about her fate to lead and how they were superior to all others. But first, she had to test her, prove she was a true Salvatoré.
