Wreathed in fire with eyes like the golden sun, Alder cuts a striking figure at first glance. He is tall for his age, large-boned and awkward, built more for fighting and scuffles than high-speed chases.
As the odd one out of his litter, he's used to feeling insecure about his crimson pelt, especially when standing next to his siblings - his expression is often one of self-conscious concern, as if he is embarrassed to be seen at all.
PERSONALITY
Cautious and kind-hearted, as a child he is eager to please and tries to win approval from his parents and peers, feeling as though he is inadequate in some way for the judgment of his crimson pelt.
Alder does not yet know it, but his coat is a grim reminder of Amaranth's cruel and violent father - a blight.
