Appearance

 Element's coat is primarily a rich black, which is peppered with silver and gray across portions of his spine, haunches, and limbs. His eyes are a liquid silver; expressive and easy to read since he's never been able to master expression of his emotions. The lower portion of his muzzle and area of his jaw are a more vibrant white, trailing down the lower portion of his cheeks and onto his chest.
 The white sharpens to a peak between his forelimbs, and from there the white fades and grays scatter again with blacks across his belly and legs. His tail is equally peppered, mostly black but dappled intermittently with gray all the way up to the tip of his tail, which is paintbrush-dipped in pure white.
 His fur is of average length, modestly groomed, and no clear scars are visible across his figure. He stands at a relatively average height for a male gray wolf and doesn't exactly come across as an imposing figure. Not too lithe, not too muscled, but simply toned and built.

Personality

To borrow from the Enneagram Institute's personality types, Element is a Type 9:

"The Easygoing, Self-Effacing Type: Receptive, Reassuring Agreeable, and Complacent... often considered a peacekeeping personality. Nines are accepting, trusting, and stable. They are usually creative, optimistic, and supportive, but can also be too willing to go along with others to keep the peace. They want everything to go smoothly and be without conflict, but they can also tend to be complacent, simplifying problems and minimizing anything upsetting. At their best, they are indomitable and all-embracing, and they are able to bring people together and heal conflicts."

History

He dreamed he had been a leader once - memories of the echo of clear water crashing over the rocks, and the way that they would lull him to sleep in his cave behind the falls. He dreamed he had been loved, had loved, but could only recall a whisper of a nickname in his ear and the sound of laughter as a shadow bounded away, forever a few steps in front of him, him forever chasing. He dreamed he had known many, had wandered far, and had lived a life full of experience.

But these things were all a dream.
