If one risks adventure here they will find an unforgiving spot of land that houses a large, gloomy, medieval-style castle with a hauntingly grim past. Banesteppe castle sits still standing strong but worn from countless years of harsh winter. Usually shrouded in thick layers of fog, the castle itself is easily missed by the untrained eye despite being elevated atop a small mountain. Beyond it lies a rotting town that no doubt once housed the subjects of this strange kingdom.

Along with its intimidating and mysterious presence, an unsettling feeling comes along with this castle, many claim they feel as if they’re being watched. Which isn’t entirely impossible due to the countless amount of rumored spirits that watch over the land and the castle itself. This idea is supported by the grim tales of all who died, nestled in a large and terrifying graveyard marked sporadically with a hundred or so tombstones. And those are only the graves that are known.

Said castle is large; accompanied by multiple wings and many long corridors, both grand and small, it’s easy to get lost within its depths. There’s even said to be secret passageways and a tunnel dug out beneath that leads further into an underground cave, depositing anyone who makes it all the way through back to the outside world.
